Chapter 98: Chapter 98 Importance of Survival skills
Lucas and Vincent both looked at the album, eager to see what was inside. Just as they were about to open it, Kyra swooped in and snatched it away.
"You naughty wolf." Kyra said, pinching Lucas’s cheek with her free hand.
"What is this?" Lucas asked, pouting.
"It’s my album. I’ll show you later. It’s already five fifty, let’s go outside. We have to leave," Kyra said hurriedly. She walked back to her room and placed the album in a drawer.
Vincent narrowed his eyes. Why did it feel like she was hiding something? But if she didn’t want to show them right now, it was okay.
Sooner or later, he would know everything about her.
After Kyra and Vincent got ready in the capsule bathroom, Lucas was still lagging behind.
He loved the shampoo and soap so much that he overwashed himself.
He sniffed his arms, closing his eyes and enjoying the fresh scent.
"Kyra, where did you get such shampoo and soap? It’s too good," he asked.
"It’s from my world," Kyra replied. Vincent, standing behind her, froze. His eyes filled with disbelief.
"You’re from a different world." Vincent spoke, his voice deepening with the realization.
"Once we reach home, I’ll tell you everything." Kyra replied as she unlatched the space capsule and stepped outside. Lucas and Vincent followed closely behind her.
She didn’t bother changing into her own old clothes from yesterday since the priest already knew much about them.
"We should compensate Priest for breaking his bed." Kyra said, glancing at the shattered bed.
"Don’t worry rainbow, I know how to make a new one." Vincent assured her.
"I’ll help him," Lucas added.
Together, they walked out of the chamber and found Ayoo sitting on the ground, mopping the floor.
"Ayoo.." Kyra called out.
Ayoo’s small face turned a deep shade of pink.
He set the mop aside, washed his hands in a bucket, and smiled sheepishly.
"H-hi. How can I help you? If you want breakfast, I’ve already prepared it in the side room. And if you have any questions for Master, he is meditating in the backyard," he said all in one breath.
"Relax, little Ayoo, and thank you," Kyra said, chuckling.
She didn’t notice how her two husbands grew jealous and started glaring at Ayoo.
Sweat began to form on Ayoo’s forehead as he forced a smile, glancing fearfully at Vincent and Lucas.
One was a dangerous Wolf, and the other was a Snake who could devour him in one snap. He was terrified!
Kyra walked toward the side room where Ayoo had pointed, her stomach growling in anticipation.
She hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday.
When she saw the big table laden with plates of breakfast and a mat spread out for sitting, her mouth watered.
She thought about how this part of the Beastworld resembled Asia, especially the food, which was delicious. Not that she was complaining.
"Let’s meet Grandpa Brad." Lucas suggested after breakfast, and they all walked to the backyard.
The backyard was a sight to behold, with grass covering the whole area and an elm tree under which Priest Brad sat with his eyes closed.
"Grandpa," Lucas called softly.
Brad opened his eyes and chuckled upon seeing Lucas.
"Hahaha, come here, Lucas." Lucas went over to Priest Brad’s side and sat in front of him. Brad rubbed his head fondly. "I still remember when I first saw you. You used to be the fattest and furriest wolf who didn’t even know how to walk. You’d fall with every step, and everyone would laugh at you. You used to look at them with your angry blue eyes..."
Kyra couldn’t help but imagine a cute, fat wolf, and she chuckled.
Vincent held her hand gently.
"Hehe! And I was still your favorite, right?" Lucas said smugly, earning a light slap on the head from Priest Brad.
"Still smug and arrogant." Brad said, rolling his eyes.
"And we’re sorry we broke your bed," Lucas added with a remorseful expression.
Priest Brad looked at them and muttered, "Young males nowadays can’t control themselves."
"Don’t worry, priest, we will make you a new one." Vincent reassured him, making Priest Brad smile.
"Grandpa, we’re already married, but why haven’t we received a mating mark?" Lucas asked, confused.
Even Vincent looked eager to know the answer.
"Oh, cub, you’re so impatient! Don’t worry, you will receive it, but you must have patience," Brad said, pointing to another side of the room. "If you want to make me a new bed, there is woods over there. The nuts and bolts are in the yellow jar."
He closed his eyes again, signaling the end of the conversation.

"Lucas, you’re injured. You wait here, we will make the bed," Kyra said softly.
"No, it’s fine. Look, my wound is almost healed." Kyra was amazed at his recovery speed. Seeing his determination, she allowed him to help.
Kyra and Vincent first decided on the size of the bed and started working on the base. Lucas used his sharp claws to cut the shapes.
Within an hour and a half, they finished making the bed and placed it in the room.
After they were done, they bid farewell to ayoo and Priest Brad, who warned them to climb down carefully.
Vincent wanted to hold Kyra again. "No, Vins, you must be tired from holding me," Kyra shook her head.
"If you don’t want to be carried by him, I’ll carry you," Lucas offered, blinking his eyes sweetly.
Vincent glared at him, but Lucas ignored him proudly.
"No, don’t worry, guys. I can’t always rely on you. What if I’m stuck in a situation where I need to help myself? I need to learn survival skills and hard work to survive here," Kyra said, her expression serious as she remembered Priest Brad’s warning.
"Don’t say that, Rainbow! I won’t ever leave you. But you’re right, you need to become more powerful because we can’t always stay with you, " Vincent said, nodding. "But if you feel tired, you can always tell us, right? Hmm?"
Unlike other males who pamper their females so much that they can’t even do basic work, Vincent was thinking practically.
Female kidnapping was common here, and with Kyra’s beauty, she would surely attract some powerful beasts.
What if he and Lucas weren’t able to help her, or if Kyra was alone? Kyra was already good at moves, but if he taught her more, she would be able to defend herself better.
If she could fight on par with him, he couldn’t imagine how powerful she would become after training.
Although her ability was good, the aura she radiated was too kind, soft, and delicate. She needed to become more fierce.
Little did he know, his decision would make Kyra incredibly grateful to him in the future.
