Hearing Kent's grim words clearly didn't sit well with the leaders of the Bloodvein tribe. They clearly didn't expect to be told they had ten years left to live.

"Clearly, you must be joking, Kent. Though the battle is coming, we don't know the outcome, yet somehow you say we will be dying?" Velyra asked, not accepting Kent's words.

"I didn't know what else to say, but from my investigation, I found out your tribe will be wiped out in ten years—if you remain in this domain, that is."

"But how? And why can't we live here after ten years?" Tribe Chief Malthar asked.

"That is because your land is poisoned, and, well, your bloodline has also been poisoned. I only found this out when I overheard the Tribe Chief and his elders talking about it.

It seems they've been planning this for a while now." Kent didn't want to tell them his system told him.

An intense killing qi exuded from the Tribe Chief's body upon hearing that their land and bloodline were poisoned—and that it had been so for a while now.

Also, the people they treated as friends were the perpetrators. These two things are just too much for them to come to terms with

"But why? Why would people we interact with every day do something like this? We share a good relationship with them, both in this region and outside during explorations.

So just why would they do something like that?" Velyra just couldn't believe what she had heard. She most definitely could not believe her ears. 𝓃𝓸𝓋𝓅𝓊𝒷.𝓬𝓸𝓂

"Why else would someone do this if not to take your treasures and make you submit? I don't know what you know about the outside world where I come from, but these things happen every day. Allies often conspire against each other for their own gain.

This is no different. The only question now is what you will do in response."

What Kent found inside the cave was a Tier 13 spell—something that shouldn't be possible in this world, considering the limitations placed on it.

However, there indeed existed a Tier 13 spell that had seemingly been active for years.

After examining it, he discovered that it affected the Bloodvein bloodline and even the land. According to the tower's deduction, they had less than a decade to live in their domain.

This, of course, made Kent wonder who had the means to cast such a powerful spell. He thought long and hard, but he just couldn't come up with a logical explanation—aside from the fact that it coincided with what happened to the Life Magicians years ago.

"I have a question, though. It's a long stretch, but do any of you know or have met someone outside this world who isn't human, dragon, elf, dwarf, beastkin, or demon?"

"No, we're unaware of anyone like that, considering we killed anyone who wasn't part of the three major and four minor tribes."

"I see. In any case, the spell is a Tier 13 spell that can't easily be destroyed. And even if we had the means to destroy it, we wouldn't want to alert the caster."

"Are you implying the caster is outside this region?" Elder Ureth asked.

"I suspect so. There's a similar situation in my world, and looking at your situation now, I believe the perpetrator is the same and not from this region."

"Then what should we do?" Velyra asked.

Kent smiled. "That will be the good news. I have two options, which I believe are the best for you. First, I will help you win the battle and even help you claim the lands belonging to the two major tribes.

This means you will kill the majority of them, which I don't mind doing. However, the chances of you alerting the caster are very high, and I don't know if your tribe will thrive naturally there when you move.

However, it's my only option that comes for free, so what do you think?"

They didn't immediately answer. This option really did sound reasonable; however, the chances of them liking it were low.

"You are right. Our tribe is of blood. We have an affinity for blood, and as such, this domain, which contains both Chaos and Blood Qi, is perfect for us.

Moving to a new domain is not something we can do. Of course, killing every last one of them is something we will do if we have the chance.

Since they can't spare us, there is no need to spare them. We fight, even with evil."

"I say they are True Evil. But knowing the first option is a no-go, I'll say the next option is also good, though it comes at a price." Kent's smile made the Chief, elders, and Velyra gulp.

Those eyes were of a predator who wanted nothing more than to sink his fangs into the veins of his prey.

"Say I have the means to create a new domain where your kind could live in peace, free from danger. Basically, you would live the best life possible.

And the best part? The Mother of Killers is also there, training. So, what do you think?" Kent asked with a smile that said many things.

Name-dropping Neomi was just his way of spicing things up. This way, no matter how expensive the price was, they wouldn't see it as a loss if they could be near their god.

"Are you being serious?" Velyra asked, the Chief and elders sharing the same questioning expression.

"Why would I lie about something like this?" Kent said with a thoughtful expression. "I just want to help. However, this help comes with a price."

"And the price is?" Chief Malthar asked, looking nervous.

"No need to look nervous. I just want the Blood Heart Stone in exchange for offering you a better accommodation. How does that sound?"

The five people in the room locked their murderous eyes on Kent when he mentioned the name of something that was supposed to be a secret.

They didn't know how he knew that, but they most certainly didn't want to take him for granted.

"Just who are you?" Velyra asked.

"Kent Madson..." Kent answered with a smile as he stood up. He knew they needed to think long and hard about his offer.
