Chapter 127 -127: She Feels Life is So Tiring
The car drove steadily on the road, taking Tang Yu to the Ye Mansion.
Outside the car window, it was pitch-dark, with streetlights occasionally sweeping across the car compartment, over Tang Yu’s dull and anxious face.
She suspected that the driver was actually one of Ye Sihan’s bodyguards.
One could tell just by looking at his physique and expression—he was cold, all business.
But why did Ye Sihan want to see her at this time?
They had already met that afternoon, wasn’t he satisfied yet?
Given Ye Sihan’s “appetite,” it was possible.
Only her body hadn’t fully recovered yet…
The car stopped at the entrance of the Ye Mansion.
Tang Yu got out of the car, took a deep breath, and resignedly walked towards the luxurious devil’s lair.
Upon entering the hall, she didn’t see Ye Sihan but was met by Uncle Wen, who seemed surprised by her sudden visit, “Miss Tang?”
“Ye Sihan asked me to come.”
Uncle Wen, truly the supervisor of the Ye Mansion, immediately understood the situation, “Miss Tang, could you make that noodle dish again? Young Master Ye doesn’t have much of an appetite and didn’t eat dinner.”
Tang Yu thought, so he was looking for her to cook noodles.
“Understood.” She turned and went to the kitchen.
Making noodles was easy, but Tang Yu wasn’t in the mood, even feeling somewhat resentful.
So she didn’t put much heart into it.
A few minutes later, the noodles were brought into the study and placed on the desk; afterward, she stood silently to one side.
The atmosphere in the study was heavy, imbued with Ye Sihan’s presence.
The man seated behind the desk cast a glance at Tang Yu, who had her face down, then stood up, causing even the air to tremble uneasily.
Ye Sihan sat down at the dining table and took a bite of the noodles.
Tang Yu’s long eyelashes trembled slightly as she watched Ye Sihan take a second bite, his face expressionless.
The next second, without a word, Ye Sihan abruptly raised his hand and violently swung it, smashing the bowl onto the ground!
This sudden act startled Tang Yu, who looked in terror at the splattered noodles on the floor.
The bowl had shattered, and noodles intended for just two bites were scattered all over, making a mess.
“Is this the noodles you cooked?” Ye Sihan’s voice was like the coldest days of winter, turning the study into a freezing cellar in an instant.
Tang Yu, seeing Ye Sihan advancing toward her, retreated in terror step by step, “I… I cooked them…”
Her back suddenly pressed against the solid wall; she had no escape.
The looming shadow made her breathing hitch.
“On purpose?”
“Is there a difference? If… if my cooking is not to your liking, Young Master Ye shouldn’t trouble me in the future,” Tang Yu feigned innocence as though she knew nothing.
But the negligible defiance in her tone only made Ye Sihan’s expression grow colder. He seized her jaw with one hand, forcefully, “Say it again. Hm?”
Tang Yu, enduring the oppressive aura emanating from Ye Sihan, trembled and didn’t dare utter another word.
Yet she didn’t feel she’d said anything wrong.
If the food wasn’t good, he could just stop asking her to cook, couldn’t he?
“To warm my heart, what do you think you are?” Ye Sihan’s menacing dark eyes were cold and chilling, and his low voice was harsh, “Your current worth is, at best, just a toy for me to vent on. Understand?”
“…Understood, I won’t be foolishly hopeful anymore.” Tang Yu swallowed nervously, looking up, “Then may I ask, Young Master Ye, do you need this toy right now? If not, I will leave.”
Ye Sihan’s dark eyes narrowed frighteningly, and the hand gripping Tang Yu’s jaw trembled slightly, as though he was forcibly restraining himself.
Tang Yu’s heart fluttered and her breath stopped.
Then she heard that cold voice, “As you wish.”
And with that, Tang Yu was pinned against the door.
In that moment, she really wanted to beg for mercy, to say ‘I’m sorry, I was wrong, I won’t do it again’, but when she opened her mouth, no sound came out.
Perhaps this was a reaction from her heart, rebelling after the painful realization that her efforts had only garnered such a response!
Yeah, what is she anyway?
How could Ye Sihan possibly change his original intention and reduce her sentence just because of the few pleasing things she did?
This man is simply paranoid to the extreme.
She still has to escape…
“Ah!” Tang Yu cried out.
“Distracted at a time like this? Huh?” Ye Sihan, like the Devil, sought to devour her completely.
“Mm!” Tang Yu tensed her body, cried out, her face twisted in pain.
“Give you a bit of color and you forget who you are,” Ye Sihan’s face was sinister. Warm his heart? He didn’t need it! “Beg me!”
Tang Yu’s teeth clenched tightly onto her lip, feeling as if she was going to die.
“Let me tell you, opposing me will have serious consequences.”
“You… might as well let me die…” Tears of discomfort rimmed Tang Yu’s eyes.
Ye Sihan’s voice suddenly grew harsh, “Don’t worry, you won’t die.” 𝚗𝚘v𝚙𝚞b.𝚌𝚘m
After he spoke, his broad and solid back arched, his face moving close to her neck, and he bit down hard, a true scene of a wild beast tearing apart its prey—
“Ugh!!” Tang Yu’s body convulsed several times, as if on the brink of death.
Of course, Tang Yu hadn’t died, but by the time she woke up, it was already noon the next day.
In the bed of the room where she used to sleep.
Her body felt paralyzed, every movement an effort, every sensation painful.
Living in such a luxury mansion, very quiet surroundings, time itself seemed to have stopped flowing.
Tang Yu probably lay still on the bed for about ten minutes before sitting up.
Getting down from the bed, her snow-white body was covered in patches, a distressing sight.
Her body gave out, and she fell to the floor.
After several attempts to get up, failing to do so, she just gave up and sat on the carpet.
Her helpless appearance made her eyes redden, followed by tears that fell one after another.
Life was hard as a child, hard as an adult; she felt so tired of life…
Resting for quite a while, she got up and went to the bathroom.
After getting dressed and going downstairs, Uncle Wen approached, “Miss Tang, would you like something to eat?”
Tang Yu walked on as if she hadn’t heard.
She walked out of the hall, out of the Ye Mansion’s gates, just kept walking straight ahead, not even taking a car.
Uncle Wen followed and tried to persuade her, “Miss Tang, why don’t you get in the car first? It will take a very long time to walk out of here.”
Tang Yu still ignored him, her face numb, walking forward step by step like a machine.
No matter how many times Uncle Wen called ‘Miss Tang’ from behind.
Uncle Wen was in a panic; he could tell that something was wrong with Tang Yu’s body, as if she was merely pushing forward with her will.
But he couldn’t lay hands on her, to forcefully push her into the car.
So, Uncle Wen could only step aside and call Ye Sihan.
Tang Yu knew she was torturing herself; this was the only way to suppress the collapse inside her heart.
It was the only way for her to feel a bit better mentally.
She didn’t know how long she had walked, she simply couldn’t go on any longer.
Even a small stumble could cause her to lose her balance.
Tang Yu fell to the ground, the world before her eyes turned black, and she fainted.
“Miss Tang!” Uncle Wen, who had been following behind, was startled.
Just as he was about to go check on her, a black car suddenly pulled up from the distance.
Ye Sihan got out of the car, an aura of coldness enveloping him as he walked toward Tang Yu, bent down to lift her, and turned to get in the car.
