Having said that, he tried to comfort Monkey, as he had been in this excited state these few days. He feared that if the soldier ignored Monkey, it might give him a psychological blow.

This time, they’re going to the United States to discuss a project. Finding Liu Qian to be a trustworthy and capable partner, Chai Ren brought him along for the trip.
The project was about an iron mine in Africa with ownership rights held by an American company. They demanded that the company must start construction and mining this year, and must meet a certain level of output. Thus came about the idea of Liu Qian and Chai Ren going to the United States together. They both projected a huge demand for steel in the domestic market in the next ten years, and believed there would still be profits even if the price was a bit high. Besides, there were many indirect benefits, and thus, they had prepared sufficient funds, determined to secure this deal.
"Young Master Chai, you’re here." greeted Liu Qian with a smile.
"Yes, good morning, President Liu. Who’s the person you’re waiting for?" Chai Ren asked with a smile. He had just heard that Liu Qian was bringing another person along but did not ask questions or appear irritated. If he were so petty, the family power, albeit strong, would not prevail. Born and raised in a military family, he valued being straightforward and not fussing over minor matters.
"He is a bodyguard I borrowed from a friend." Liu Qian explained.
"A borrowed one? Isn’t Monkey enough? Besides, we aren’t going to any dangerous place this time, what are you afraid of?" Chai Ren enquired, puzzled.
A borrowed bodyguard? It would be surprising if Liu Qian couldn’t afford to hire his own bodyguard.
Liu Qian explained: "What Young Master Chai doesn’t know is that Monkey wishes to learn a thing or two from this man. Otherwise, just Monkey by my side would suffice. Initially, Monkey wanted to learn from your bodyguards, but given their important task of protecting you, I wouldn’t dare ask."
Chai Ren had heard such flattery many times before, but when spoken by Liu Qian it was somehow pleasing. Yet, if he were to believe it, he would be a fool. No doubt, that person must have some special abilities, thus he couldn’t help but be curious and asked: "Oh? It seems like this person must be quite formidable."
