Chapter 51: Chapter 48 It’s Him Who Smashed it_2
Thinking that he had found a powerful backer, his morale soared upon seeing the two of them. With these two present, Tang Qing and Li Kai were mere scum; perhaps even Wang Yan would see him differently.
The person talking at this moment was named Liu Kai, the other was named Feng Sen.
Tang Qing turned his head and saw two young men approaching. They appeared to be about his age and were not dressed in any name brands. However one could instantly tell from their demeanor that they came from families with official ties. How did he come to think this? It was because Tang Qing sensed an aura of authority around them—or you could call it confidence.
"Master Liu, you’re here," Su Ziwang respectfully greeted as he walked over.
"Hmm, what’s going on here, and why the blockage?" Liu Kai asked while looking around with furrowed brows.
"I ran into a few classmates." After finishing the sentence Su Ziwang stepped forward to whisper to Liu Kai: "Master Liu, the one in the blue is my arch-enemy. I want to ask for your help to teach him a lesson."
"Oh? What’s their background?" Liu Kai asked with doubt. He was no fool, those who dined in five-star hotels were never average citizens. They at least had some money at home, and if they had any influence, then things could get tricky.
At the same time, Liu Kai secretly despised Su Ziwang. Such an immature kid, does he even know how to talk, or how to pick his words? Teach a lesson? Does he want me to start a fight or what? However, considering Su Ziwang’s fervent attitude, he restrained himself from saying too much. 𝔫𝖔𝔳𝔭𝔲𝔟.𝖈𝔬𝔪
"No background. One of them owns a little restaurant at home, and the family of that girl seems to run a small decoration company. As for the one in the front, you can tell from his clothes that he comes from a fairly ordinary family. Plus, they’re from a county town and supposedly live with their uncle," Su Ziwang whispered.
"I see, I’ll help you out," Liu Kai decided after some thought. He found it easier to deal with them as long as they didn’t have any special background. He believed Li Kai must have a solid understanding of these classmates. He then turned around to say to a young man standing beside him: "Master Feng, could I ask you for a little favor? If you could wait for a moment."
"No problem, you go ahead," Feng Sen responded, not even looking up from his mobile phone. He had seen enough of such situations and grown tired of them. He used to partake himself, and never thought much of it. I have power, I have influence, so what if I teach you a little lesson? It’s not like I’m going to severely hurt you or kill you.
As for Wang Yan, the beauty, he simply spared her a few more glances. He was not like the unsophisticated young masters in novels who were desperate to get themselves a beauty. Whenever he saw such young masters, he felt it was a disgrace.
Seeing Feng Sen nod, Liu Kai got an idea upon spotting a painting hanging on the adjacent wall. Having gotten into this kind of situation often, he knew plenty of ways to handle it, and only a fool would resort to immediate violence or flaunt their status.
Troubling the other party was the most amusing thing to do, especially when they were crying and pleading for mercy.
Tang Qing overheard their conversation but simply smiled faintly. He was looking forward to seeing what tricks these privileged second-generations could pull. He wasn’t expecting a chance encounter, but this sudden encounter was simply too unexpected.
Quite interesting.
Immediately, Liu Kai walked over to the oil painting across from the elevator, took down the frame violently, and stomped on it several times. And then he shouted aloud:
"Security!"
Within a few seconds, a waiter arrived. When he saw the situation, he immediately called for the security guard via his Walkie-talkie. After smashing the painting, Liu Kai threw a let’s-watch-the-show look at Su Ziwang.
Liu Kai was no fool. Of course, he knew there were surveillance cameras around, but so what? He felt that the hotel would not risk offending them for the sake of a few small-time business owners. Whatever he said would hold sway.
Additionally, he had the honorable Feng Sen standing behind him. His father was a city leader and the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. He had nothing to fear from Tang Qing and the others. Even if the hotel chose to uphold justice in the end, it wouldn’t matter much. The painting surely wasn’t worth much, Su Ziwang could pay for it if necessary. Even if their opponents’ influences outweighed his own, but compared to their combined force, it was undoubtedly insignificant. A simple apology and some gifts would set things right, not even daring to retaliate.
Simply put, they had the upper hand from the start to the end of the incident. Moreover, he only wanted to annoy the other party. With nothing severe to gain from aiding Su Ziwang, Liu Kai had no interest in targeting the others aggressively. Making them part with some cash would be enough.
He was just a student too, dealing with fellow students like Tang Qing was neither interesting nor would it do his reputation any good. It was more fun to just mess around.
By the way, Liu Kai also wanted to show off a little in front of Wang Yan. He didn’t have as much exposure to the world as Feng Sen did, and he seldom had a chance with good women. Therefore, Wang Yan was quite attractive. He noticed that Su Ziwang was interested in Wang Yan, but what of it? Once Su Ziwang got her, he would definitely be attending their gatherings, and Liu Kai could snatch her then. There was no hurry at the moment.
Not long after.
Both the security guard and Qiu Lan arrived. After seeing the two groups and the painting on the ground, they immediately understood what was going on. They felt torn between the diamond cardholder employer and the offspring of officials. It wasn’t about choosing sides since this wasn’t a big deal, but they were genuinely unable to make a decision.
"Respected guests, what seems to be the problem?" Qiu Lan asked, first wanting to understand the demands of both sides.
