Gu Hongwei carried Tong Yao straight back upstairs to rest. Tong Yaohui asked Wen Yun to stay with Tong Yao and the baby while he and Gu Hongwei went to the police station for updates.

Seeing her father’s serious look, Tong Yao’s heart ached. Yes, while she was worried about her child, Tong Yaohui was worried about her.
"Dad, I believe in you. I will wait at home for news and won’t go anywhere else."
Tong Yaohui nodded, "That’s my good girl. You rest well, I will go find our child."
