Si Xiaohui calmed down for a moment, put her hand beneath Yu Shiya’s nose to check if she was breathing. When she confirmed that Shiya was still alive, she sighed with relief.

Si Xiaohui had tied her and Tong Yue up tightly, and even used a rope to tie them together like dogs. They had no chance of breaking free.

They didn’t know how long they had been in the room. The sky was dark when Si Xiaohui suddenly came back with a shiny knife in her hand, carrying meat buns and roasted duck. She just sat there, starting to eat, while Tong Yue, who was hungry, kept staring at Si Xiaohui.
Seeing this, Yu Shiya struggled a bit. Si Xiaohui figured she wanted to say something, so she walked over, "I’ll remove the thing from your mouth, but don’t you dare shout or I’ll kill you right away."
Yu Shiya quickly nodded, and when Si Xiaohui removed the gag, her mouth was so sore. It took her a while to finally say, "You’ve had her tied up for a long time, haven’t you? She’s almost drooling watching you eat. Why don’t you give her some food? Do you want to starve her to death?"
Si Xiaohui looked at her suspiciously, "Didn’t you detest Tong Yao? Why are you so nice to her daughter? Are you planning some trick?"
Yu Shiya snapped back, "Both of us are tied up here. If she starves to death, wouldn’t I be stuck with a corpse?"
Semi-believing, Si Xiaohui stuffed Yu Shiya’s mouth again, and only after she finished eating did she removed the gag from Tong Yue’s mouth and feed her a meat bun.
