"Why do you think that all those girls all fall for him at first glance?"

"It's the face. What else could it be if not the face?"

"Right, it's that handsome face of his that makes them all feel that way."

After the last person spoke, there was a collective sigh that came from the group.

Shaking her head, Rose said with another sigh, "Even though he's married, he just doesn't hold back at all. If he shows any bit of kindness with that kind of face, there's no doubt that they'll fall for him."

Angela nodded in agreement as she said, "Did you see the way that those girls looked at him? It's clear that he already has them around his fingers. They stood no chance at all, especially since they were girls that just came out of the water for the first time."

"It's not as if he means to do it." Elsa said in a soft voice.

"That's the worst part. He doesn't even know what he's doing and he's just doing it naturally."

A collective nod came from the group before a consensus was reached, "In a way, it could be said that he's an enemy to women."

"But that's the reason that we all fell for him, isn't it?" Rose said with a sigh.

Once again, another collective nod came from the group.

Then with another sigh, Rose said, "And we all agreed that if he did bring more women back, we would accept them, right?"

Another collective nod came from the group, though it wasn't as enthusiastic as the past ones.

It almost seemed like they had resigned themselves to something.

Rose also had a resigned voice as she said, "Then let's think of ways to deal with these new girls. We've already established an order amongst ourselves and it's a good thing that we can get along. But if he brings back a girl that isn't as easy, then it'll be a problem not just for us, but for him as well."

At that, the wives of Zwein started discussing countermeasures for the feature all without him knowing about it.

After being kicked out by Rose, I really had no choice but to go with the sea witches as they headed to the Sorcery Empire.

The Sorcery Empire was some distance away from the Kite Kingdom, but it wasn't as bad since we had the wyverns.

Since I was going, it was only natural that the royal guards would come along.

The wyverns that the royal guards had were a cut above the rest of the other wyverns. They were specially trained since they were supposed to be the strongest group that protected me.

They received the best resources and the best training methods, so they were far stronger than the other wyverns.

At the same time, that made them much faster than the other wyverns.

With this speed, it wouldn't take long for us to arrive in the Sorcery Empire.

But during this time, there was a commotion that happened.

All of the sea witches were excited about riding on the wyverns, but it seemed like there was something else that they were more excited about. It seemed that they were having some kind of competition to decide something.

Even Ariel seemed like she was interested in this competition, so she joined in as well.

I didn't say anything since I knew what their competition was about, but I couldn't say that I was quite interested in the results.

After all, there was nothing for me to gain from this competition.

The prize that they were competing for was a seat on Joan with me.

It was strange that they seemed to want this so badly, but I knew better than to get involved in this matter.

It was clear that there was something deeper underneath this.

In the end, it was Ariel and Dicus that received that honour.

The two of them sat on Joan with me, but they didn't look around at the sights like the other sea witches.

This was normal for Ariel since she should have already been used to riding on wyverns after all the time that she had spent in the Kite Kingdom.

But this was Dicus' first time on the back of a wyvern, so she should have been much more excited.

Instead, she just came over to my side and started talking to me about different things.

It wasn't anything special that she was talking to me about, it was just a bunch of random things that we talked about. This was just normal everyday conversation, so I was confused why she was more interested in this than looking off the side of Joan.

While she talked to me about these things, Ariel chipped in from time to time while listening to our conversation.

With the way that she stayed on the side, it was as if she was watching over something though I had no idea what she was watching over.

This was a safe journey, so there shouldn't be anything that posed a threat to us.

But she didn't let her guard down at all while we were traveling, so I couldn't help feeling that there was something off.

After all, Ariel wouldn't just keep her guard up like this for no reason.

That was why I stopped talking to Dicus and started looking around for whatever it could be that Ariel was on guard against.

Dicus didn't look too happy, but she didn't say anything in the end.

On the side, the other sea witches seemed happy that I had stopped talking to her.

What I didn't hear was…

"It's the face."

"It has to be the face, there's nothing else."

"If he didn't have that face…"

"Enough, he's our king and we shouldn't be talking about him like this." Klein said to stop his royal guards from saying anything else.

Only…

"Leader, you've said the same thing in the past. You can't really say anything if you were going to complain as well."
