There are only 2 hours left before dusk. If they don't come across Tier-4 Corrupted beasts before that, then they might have to return empty-handed.
Of course, Jeremy is not willing. He wants to prove his strength in front of Instructor Jacob.
Growl!
Just as they were waiting for the beast, they heard a growling sound from a distance.
When they turned towards the source, they saw an almost 10-foot tall hybrid hound looking at them. It's not the normal size of the Corrupted hound.
"Get ready!"
"This hound is a Tier-4 beast. If I see you in grave danger, then I'll intervene," Jacob said in a serious tone.
Though he agreed with Jeremy Night's wish, he is not going to believe blindly. The Tier-4 Beasts have faster reactions and responses.
They can easily overpower lower-tier beasts in a flash. So killing a Tier-1 Beast Tamer was not difficult for the beast.
He is ready as well. If there is any danger, then he will rescue him. Thereafter, he won't entertain any of Jeremy's ideas.
Growl!
The Tier-4 Hound Beast is a terrifying creature with incredible speed and defense. Its teeth are razor-sharp, capable of tearing through any hard skin and scales.
It is now observing the two prey, one of whom is standing a little distance away from it.
It already sensed the strength of the prey in front of it.
A bloodthirsty instinct kicks in after confronting the weak prey.
At the same time, Jeremy got serious as well. He knows he has one opportunity to prove himself. Not many would listen to him, so he didn't want to disappoint Instructor Jacob.
He unsheathed his katana sword and held it in his right hand.

The Tier-4 Beast dashes out towards him. In a flash, the beast appears before him, its huge, gaping mouth aiming at him.
Jeremy began to use starlight energy to cover the blade. The milky white liquid enveloped the sharp edge of the blade in an instant.
In the next second, he employed his eye ability to find the weakness of the beast. Under his second eye ability, the beast's body became transparent.
All of its blood vessels became visible. Jeremy locked onto the blood vessel in its neck.
The beast's claw was a meter away from his head. The next moment, he moved his body.
Cut!
The katana blade in his hand danced before slicing into the beast's neck, severing the blood vessels in a flash.
Puchak!
The blood sprayed onto the ground. The beast's pupils enlarged; it was stunned. Seizing this opportunity, he jumped high before bringing his blade downward.
Cut!
The starlight-filled katana blade easily penetrated the flesh. The new starlight energy destroyed the strong tissue.
In a flash, the blade smoothly severed its head.
Thud!
The Tier-4 Hound Beast's head dropped to the ground. This all happened within a minute.
Phew!
Jeremy heaved a sigh of relief as the decapitated head fell to the ground as well.
A small smile appeared on his face. It went better than he had imagined. When he turned around, he was stunned by the next scene.
He saw Instructor Jacob recording the video. The next second, a look of understanding dawned on him.
Jacob Henry saved the video before a bright smile appeared on his face. But his heart was in turmoil. What he witnessed was nothing short of art.
He saw Jeremy Night's fluid sword movements before killing the beast. He was more shocked by his combat awareness.
"In a fraction of a second, he moved his body to evade the frontal attack. Then he directly targeted the weak spot to cut down the blood vessels."
"Then what followed was the finishing move to sever the head of the beast," Jacob thought as he recalled the scene in his mind.
Jeremy noticed that Instructor Jacob was in a daze, so he called out his name. They needed to return before nightfall.
Jacob recovered his thoughts before saying, "You have shocked me. I never expected your combat awareness to be at this level. Now, I realize it has to do with your A-Grade Talent, Supreme Combat Body."
"You are truly made for combat. No wonder you could kill a Tier-4 Corrupted Beast with ease. As an instructor, I even underestimated your talent."
"In a combat situation, it certainly plays a role," he added with a smile.
Jeremy didn't know what to say. He was worried that his strength would be exposed, but Instructor Jacob didn't seem to notice his real strength yet.
He was taken by the Tier-4 Beast's kill, so he allowed him to speak further. Hearing about the Supreme Combat Talent, he thought both the talent and eye ability had played a role.
Jacob then calmed his heart and put the recording device into his storage ring.
Then he said, "Let's go. We should return before midnight."
"It won't take that long," Jeremy replied.
Then both of them started heading back.
About an hour later, right after dusk, they saw the city gate. Soon, they reached the city gate.
The city guards didn't ask anything. Then they returned to the university using Instructor Jacob's flying car.
A few minutes later,
They walked into the university.
"I'll show the footage to Elder Derek in the morning. I'm sure he will convince Dean Carolyn to lift the ban for you," Jacob said before leaving.
Jeremy nodded to him before heading toward the dormitory. His plan had worked out well. He didn't have to prove his skills again. This video would convince everyone.
About 10 minutes later,
He returned to his room. He then entered the bath. The bath lasted for 20 minutes. He then walked out before changing into comfortable clothes.
Then he sat on the sofa before starting to browse online posts. As usual, he saw many hateful posts today. He thought the seniors were behind it.
"Looks like they haven't convinced yet," Jeremy thought. He believed the video would make them see reality.
