Wei Jun ran at full speed as a giant monster chased him in flight, spewing fire at him. No matter how confident Wei Jun was in all of his status effects to keep him alive, he had a feeling he wouldn't be able to come out unscathed from that fire.

Before, Robert was consuming a lot of stamina to breathe fire, now it was spewing it out without such side effects, making Wei Jun all the more wary of the monster on his tail.

"At times like this..." Wei Jun said out loud as he jumped in the air to evade the mini dragon, "I need his annoying advice."

With the overseer no longer in contact, Wei Jun couldn't make sense of a lot of things. Most of all, the mages and the dragon that was on his back.

"Kyaak!!"

The dragon roared as it changed directions to chase Wei Jun.

"What was that about a dragon's imprint on my soul?! What utter bull-- Argh!!!" Wei Jun complained as he ran and ran. He was slowly running out of time, yet it didn't seem like Robert, or whatever he was now, was going to run out of steam anytime soon.

[Sword of the Mountain King has been equipped]

Wei Jun equipped both swords once and jumped high up, even from the dragon, and leaped on its back, with his swords ready to pierce the dragon, but...

Swisshh!!!

The diamond sword managed to hold on, but the tiger sword suddenly got extremely hot and began to melt from the tip. Not just that, his feet were also melting under the extreme heat coming from the mini dragon.

"Why do all problems have to come down on me!!!?" Wei Jun yelled as he raised the diamond sword and stabbed the dragon's back with it.

"Kaaahh!!!" The dragon screamed in pain, but that didn't do much as the sword began to melt as well. But...

[Will of the roaring dragon]

Wei Jun executed the skill from the sword tip for as long as he could hold on and made the dragon scream again and again in pain, effectively delivering damage to the dragon.

Finally, the dragon managed to shake Wei Jun off, and with how much pain he was in due to his feet melting off, Wei Jun didn't resist and just fell to the ground.

"But I'm not going empty-handed!" Wei Jun yelled as he grabbed onto the wing of the dragon and, with all his might, with all his strength backing him up and all the status effects backed up, Wei Jun tore the wing off and fell to the ground.

"Keehh!!!"

The dragon shortly followed, and Wei Jun stood up, looking at its golden eyes as it looked back at him as well.

"Finally, we're both down on the ground." Wei Jun confidently said, but contrary to his outward appearance, he wasn't as confident as he seemed.

[Duration: 7:09]

He only had a few minutes left, yet all he had managed to do was rip off one wing of the dragon.

His feet healed at lightning speed, and his health didn't seem to budge at all. But the dragon wasn't at his limit as well, and if he looked closely enough, he could see the dragon's wing slowly regenerating.

'Just what I needed.' Wei Jun murmured inwardly with annoyance, but there was no time to hesitate.

Fwoo!!!

The dragon breathed fire once again, making Wei Jun jump aside to dodge, and threw the melted tiger sword in his hand at the dragon.

All it did was manage to distract the dragon for a second, but that second was enough. Wei Jun instantly shortened the distance, and black whips extended from his hands, covering the area around him.

[Death Veil]

[Destroyer]

Wei Jun used two strong skills at once, and now that his health pill cooldown was over, Wei Jun used the self-inflicting skill without hesitation, and a shockwave emitted as soon as the whips had wrapped themselves around the dragon.

Boom!!!

The strong shockwave that hurt Wei Jun as well, but instantly negated as his HP didn't go down thanks to his skill being activated, but the same couldn't be said for the dragon.

"KAAAHH!!!" The bone-chilling scream that was emitted from the dragon was enough to gather the attention of those who were fighting far away. But they couldn't afford to look away from their own battles for long because their own battles were at critical stages.

[Duration: 1:09]

Wei Jun gritted his teeth. Although his health didn't go down, he did feel immense pain and that distracted him for a few second which allowed the dragon, despite the immense pain it was in to...

"Keehhh!!!"

Another scream was emitted by the dragon, but it wasn't just a scream. It wasn't pain or anything, it was simply a scream of determination.

Something Wei Jun could tell was bad.

Very bad.

'No sh*t.' Wei Jun cursed at the obvious instructions and moved back, but...

"What the..." Wei Jun looked down at the dragon, who had suddenly grabbed him by his mana that was emitting from his body, grabbed onto him like a hand that had formed into thin air.

"You fu*k!" Wei Jun yelled, but it was too late...

Boom!!!!!

~~

"Wh-What was that?" A shockwave spread throughout the area, shaking not just the ground near the evident point of the explosion but perhaps the entire country.

A mushroom in the distance from the giant explosion that occurred, everyone gazed at the power it contained until...

Whaa!!!

The shockwave emitted from the explosion overwhelmed them all.

"Hold on!!!"

All of them did their best to protect themselves from the force contained in that shockwave, but no matter how hard they held on, they soon reached their limits and...

"Kyah!!!"

"What th---!!!"

"Dam---!!"

Regardless of rank and power, everyone and everything was blown away, with everyone taking a great amount of damage to their bodies. It was even more difficult for the mages, but for the mages on the Wei Jun's side, Xia Lu protected Natasha with all her might while in front of Mark Wilson, a cold and white beauty seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, negating all the damage he was supposed to incur.

"Ling!" Mark Wilson exclaimed once he saw who it was.

It wasn't long before everything came to an end, and finally, the team managed to collect themselves, fortunately, all of them alive. The castle where they were once fighting was nothing more than rubble, most of the mages dead, while only some of the high-ranking mages were still alive.

Cough!

Karl coughed out blood, but his mana managed to heal him almost instantly, and he began to cast magic on Clarissa, who was next to him, also in a bad shape.

He tried to stand up, but with his mana almost depleted and depleting still to save Clarissa, he could only lie there and wait for his fate to come. Fortunately for him, his enemies were more focused on collecting themselves and healing their own allies than on them.

Karl instantly began to make a circle on the floor with his blood, and it soon activated. He grabbed Clarissa before anyone else could look at him and vanished from the spot.

"Tch!" Song Huan clicked his tongue, but he had no choice but to let Karl get away. With how badly injured he and the rest of them were, he could only hope Karl would flee instead of opting for a last effort attack.

"Melissa!!" Natasha, who was protected by Xia Lu, ran to Melissa, who was unconscious and missing a few of her limbs. Okay, that might have been over exaggerating it...

She was missing half of her body from below the waist, and one of his arms was nowhere to be seen.

"No!" Natasha hopelessly yelled and tried all sorts of spells at her disposal, but no matter what she did, although alive, Melissa wasn't regaining her consciousness. It only seemed like she was losing her color, which would indicate she was dying.

"Stop." Yan Rong, who was now fully healed thanks to the pill Wei Jun had given her, arrived next to her and pulled something out of the spatial ring that Wei Jun had given her.

"How can I?!" Natasha instantly shot back.

"Calm down. Because if you do..." Yan Rong said as she knelt down and fed the golden contents of the bottle to Melissa, whose body instantly began to regenerate, "Then you would know Wei Jun gave you everything to come back from death's door."

Natasha calmed down. She noticed her mistake, but before she could say anything, she suddenly remembered, "Where's Wei Jun?"

A question that was not only on hers, but on everyone's mind. All of them turned to the remnants of the explosive cloud in the distance and repeated the question in their minds once again.

Where was Wei Jun?
