Chapter 1100: High Level Problem II

"Someone strange has appeared in the midst of our war." Devil Qhava said after awakening from her post-conquest state of a new territory, feeling her senses reach even further; her strength subtly higher.

After months of moving around, she had increased the size of her domains by 40% before the ’death’ of Devil Abby Miller. Her cultivation had fluctuated upwards, but she wasn’t close to a breakthrough to level 129—as they called it in the Hell—or rather, a breakthrough to the 6-Star of the Transcendent stage, the peak of the dimension, as the stories said.

She still had many targets and interests in the current war, in particular her rivals, who, after the end of the current dispute would be the best sources for her to strengthen herself for her big target: Devil Lothur Ritter.

However, after slightly improving her affinity for the Throne of Hell this day, she couldn’t help but feel a discomfort she hadn’t noticed before. As she analyzed this sensation, it didn’t take her long to understand its origin and suddenly turn her attention to it.

"Something strange? What do you mean, mistress?" One of the low-level Devils around there asked, one of the underlings accompanying her on this journey of power.

Not all of her guardians and minions were with Qhava. Some of them were taking over new territories in her name. Some of them had even entered the Celestial cultivation range of the Transcendent stage, a feat for few, even among the highest-ranking Devils in the dimension!

She kept looking in the direction from which she had sensed something disturbing, which she was sure not only she had noticed. Certainly, the one stronger than her, the main Devil, had already noticed. Not only that, but she was sure that someone weaker than her, closer to the source of the sensation that had frightened her today, must have noticed it before long.

She said to her group, "A new Devil. Someone who wasn’t in the position, or in the Hell until recently. Someone dangerous. A talent, even worse than Minos Stuart."

The black rocky-looking beings stopped what they were doing to all look in the same direction as her, echoing the worry that invariably pulsed in their chests.

"Is that possible?" Someone asked after a minute of tense silence.

She ignored the question and ordered, "I want a group going after this creature. He’s not strong yet, I can sense that. But don’t underestimate him. Surround him and wait for me. I’ll eliminate this threat myself."

With those words, she set off towards the next territory she intended to dominate. But as she moved, she had Minos’ face in mind, her fists clenched in determination not to make the mistakes she had made with him again.

’That energy source... It’s worse than what attracted me to Minos. This time I won’t hesitate. I’ll kill this menace as soon as I have it in my grasp!’

...

Not only Devil Qhava had already realized something. Other Devils in the middle of the 10th stage of magical cultivation had already noticed something strange.

The one closest to them, in particular, was currently moving towards the source of the disturbance that had brought him out of the war.

’I have to deal with this entity.’ This infernal creature, he thought to himself, leading a battalion of undead, hellish guardians in various forms, as his chariot of bones and darkness left a dark trail through the red desert they were now in. Looking up at the Hell sky, he took a deep breath, feeling uncomfortable. ’It’s as if the dimension is... is against us.’

The sensation that he and several others had already noticed was as if, suddenly, the more and more friendly dimension towards them had changed and, little by little, begun to repel them. Not only that, from the thrones (positions) that had previously existed in the dimension, quite well known among them, suddenly a new one had appeared, even though news or even the magical fluctuation of a new high-level Devil had emerged openly.

The initial thought of several of them was whether there was something wrong with the dimension. But as they thought about it more and analytically checked the information they had, they all came to the same conclusion: this was originating from a being, someone new and independent!

So, like this 5-Star Devil from the Transcendent stage, other powerful Devils were either heading for the same place as him, or their subordinates were doing it.

"We’re not far away. Be prepared. The source of the threat is not normal!" Shouted the Devil from his carriage, sensing that his destination was only a few days away-little, considering the vast Hell.

"Master, what shall we do with him?" asked a creature also wearing an infernal crown.

"We’ll kill him and then study his corpse." Said the group leader dryly, not underestimating the abilities of one ’favored’ by the Hell. "I hope that answers our doubts. Otherwise, we’ll have to give up on understanding something with such incredible growth speed."

Along with the myriad of negative feelings about this new entity in the dimension, the strongest of the Devils could clearly feel the absence of restrictions on the growth of the one behind this recent phenomenon.

The entity had a strong affinity with the Hell and was not facing any bottlenecks in the expansion of its domains and powers!

...

Simultaneously, on the border of one of Vicente’s various domains, he and a group of undead and guardians were moving through a cloud of darkness.

The almost imperceptible shadows in the dark environment trembled, emanating macabre sensations to those unaccustomed to Vice’s powers. Fortunately, his subordinates were immune to the effects of his powers on the infernal darkness, otherwise they would have been paralyzed, unable to move towards the group’s final destination.

After months in the dimension, Vicente was moving to conquer yet another domain, in particular, the one he believed would give him his breakthrough to 5-Star.

With his advancement to 5-Star, not only his mana but also his understanding would reach a level that would totally change his capabilities. Vicente believed that he would finally be able to open a significant enough spatial distortion to test his teleportation training and thus escape the dimension.

As such, with a smile on his face, anticipating returning to the side of his companions and going ahead with his mission in Anicane, he took the final steps to the domain next to his own, an area still without a sovereign, powerful enough to fulfill his requirements.
