"Where is mom, I couldn’t find her" Ragnar asked as he looked around.
Einar stayed silent as tears dropped from his eyes "She is dead, son. She sacrificed her life to make sure we won"
"Son" Einar said, looking at Ragnar who looked back at him "I won’t be alive much longer i can feel it, so while I am still alive and breathing I formally hand over the leadership of the silver kingdom over to you"
Ragnar wanted to say something but Einar clenched his hand "You will soon reach the fourth stage of our power system, I would like to warn you of your usage of it. Make sure it is something of a trump card as there is no going back after using it, If possible i would like for you to explore other ways to use the power of the goddess and not end up becoming a sacrifice like your mother and I"
"The power of the great mother of the moon is something too great for us mortals to call upon and use whenever we want to," Einar said as he looked up to the moon.
Shakingly stretching his hand out, Einar called back the white blade that was still active even now, handing the white blade to Ragnar "This weapons has been with me for a lifetime and only during this war did this weapon full awaken it’s power but it was too late to learn, I now hand this weapon to use to understand it and better use it to protect our people"
As soon as Ragnar took hold of the blade, Einar hands dropped to the ground limp. Ragnar was able to notice the loss of heartbeat so he shook his father in disbelief dropping the white blade he was given "Father, wake up, father please wake up"
Back in Mahu’s realm, Ikenga can be seen standing before Mahu, Looking at Mahu Ikenga asked "Are you okay?"
Mahu knew what he was referring to so she nodded "I feel just fine, if nothing I only feel weird"
Ikenga, intrigued asked "Weird how?"
"Being confined in a body that wasn’t mine and on top of that the body felt like glass that I have to tread carefully for it not to break," Mahu said recalling the sensation.
Ikenga nodded before looking up to the sky in Mahu’s realm, specially looking beyond it at a small red shining dot that their mother put there "I hope you understood Nana had no say in the way things ended" Ikenga said.
Mahu joined him looking up "I do, but I still feel anger and disrespected"
"That’s understandable," Ikenga said before looking at Mahu.
"Did you know that there was another player involved in this war?" Ikenga asked Mahu.
"I had a feeling of being watched when i was in the mortal world but i couldn’t pinpoint them, besides I don’t care much about them as long as they don’t interfere with me" Mahu said looking back at Ikenga.
"Do you mind?" Ikenga asked Mahu as she shook her head before Ikenga waved his hand causing a huge projection of the mortal world to appear before them.
Mahu looked at the projection and couldn’t fully grasp where the location being shown was. Ikenga spoke up this time as he waved once again to show a view of a huge magic circle appearing out of thin air. Soon dozens of figures clad in robes walked out of the circle before it closed up.
Ikenga looked at the group and said "They were the one’s watching you the whole time, their conversation at the time showed that they planned on Helping Björn out till he "Raised his throne" but were taken back when they saw how powerful you were"
"Raise his throne, what does that mean?" Mahu asked Ikenga, confused.
"I believe it meant to buy him time so that he will be able to summon Nana who will finalize his ascension" Ikenga answered Mahu as he continued to look at the screen.
Mahu paid a closer look at the screen before saying "That means that they are already aware of the process of ascension but who would want to help Björn" Mahu said out loud.
Ikenga was about to answer but Mahu continued "It can’t possibly be another demon can it? I thought the demons can’t be in cahoots with each other"
Ikenga nodded to affirm her words "True and I don’t think Björn knew that he had an ally behind him"
Soon on the screen, the dozen figures soon took off their robe they had on to show their faces. Ikenga raised an eyebrow seeing their appearance. "Asians?" he thought to himself.
Mahu also took note of the distinct appearance that can only be found in only a certain part of their world "So they are from the southern continent" Mahu said out loud with Ikenga nodding to affirm her thoughts.
"Indeed," Ikenga nodded.
"What do you think this demon gains from Björn ascending?" Mahu asked.
Ikenga opened his arms as a small green portal formed above his hands with two golden fruits falling out from it. Handing over one of the apple to Mahu, Ikenga bit into his before speaking up "I have also thought about what possible reason why Björn ascending benefits the demon and I could only think of a few reason like the demon wanting to see how much we the gods can do or act on and another possibly being the demon wanting a capable ally"
"If what you say is true, then this demon may be planning something big and we can’t do anything about it," Mahu said.
Ikenga said nothing back but continued looking at the screen. Meanwhile down at the southern continent, the dozen men had already taken off their black robes and the summoned leader was looking up to the sky at the red dot.
"Prince Chen, it seems that the demon Björn really is lucky. It managed to raise its throne to the sky alone" One of the men said to the prince who now had his hands clenched behind him.
Chen was feeling outrage at this moment, he was thinking back on how he was to report to his father that the mission was completed without them and he was the reason for it because of cowardice.
Looking back, he caught a glimpse of his sister looking smirkingly at him. He knew exactly why they were smirking. If he lied in his report then his sisters will make sure that the truth was exposed.
Closing his eyes. The prince’s eyes turned cold as his arm was covered with a dark smoke energy, waving his hand to his right where someone was closer. A head flew up to the sky before falling and tumbling to the ground followed by a body falling to the ground.
The others were surprised and screamed "What are you doing your highness?" Chen said nothing as he destined on the others quickly finishing them off; only those left were the four men sent by his sister.
The four drew their weapon while looking at Chen covered in blood "I will enjoy the death of you four" Chen said as the dark smoke covering his hand spread around the surroundings blinding everyone.
Soon only a scream of horror could be heard and occasional swinging of weapons before the dark smoke subsided to show the four men dead with look of fear in their faces. Chen had a look of exhilaration on his face as he squatted to take a weapon in his hand before slashing himself all over.
"This will do it" He said before the dark smoke appeared again covering each dead body, at the same time Chen himself turned into a dark smoke that quickly headed off into the distance.
Mahu and Ikenga watched Chen journey back to his place, On his way the two gods took note of how every kingdom they found was each flying the same flag. Almost like they were under one nation.
This went on for a while before the shadow of a city of grandeur and opulence. Its skyline dominated by the soaring spires of ancient pagodas and the intricate architecture of imperial palaces, The city is a testament to the wealth and sophistication of the kingdom. The streets bustle with merchants hawking exotic spices, silk, and rare artifacts from distant lands, while the air is filled with the melody of traditional music.
While Ikeng and Mahu were taking in the site of the city, Chen headed for a cave close to the city which he went into before being directed to the tunnel path which he took. Soon he appeared in front of a huge gate.
Walking to the gate, He pushed in and his groaning while pushing showed how heavy the gate was but he still pushed it open. As soon as the gate was opened a view of an underground palace presented itself.
Looking at the underground place, light up with green flames hanging on the walls. Chen took a deep breath, adjusting his clothes and face expression before walking in. As soon as he walked in the gate closed in on itself and the screen where Mahu and Ikenga were watching turned dark.
