Instead as the souls are being absorbed into Boros, their memories and experience is turned into a small light that travels along the branches of Osisi eventually sprouting out into fruits. Boros who was absorbing the souls opened her mouth where the souls now covered in purple light leave through her mouth turning invincible and escaping through the void.
This process continued for a while until all the souls inside of Osis had been transformed, as soon as that was done, Boros closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep, the same for Osisi.
Ikenga meanwhile paid attention to the void where the cursed spirits are now escaping to, Following one cursed spirit he saw it being attracted to a human and depending on the attire of the human Ikenga can determine that that is a noble.
As soon as the cursed spirit saw the nobel, it got into him. There was no reaction for a while but Ikenga watched as the body of the noble began twisting, bones cracking down. The noble took on a monstrous form covered with jewels, gold and symbols of wealth while muttering "Mine, it’s all mine"
Like it was attracted by something, the monster burst through the wall catching everyone’s attention as it began running towards the safe room where the castle income and money is stored.
No one recognized the monster so they responded accordingly to the threat apprehending the monster and stopping it in its part but the noble, now a monster was too far gone he could hardly recognize anything except for the huge amount of wealth waiting for him.
Stopping the monster in its path turned out to be a bad decision for everyone close by as they all immediately had a look of greed in their eyes once they took a close good look at the monster. In their eyes, all they see is a treasure that is able to move someone but they paid that no mind instead they wanted it.
The monster did not know its effect on those around, instead it was still trying to get to the safe room when all the human soldiers around all jumped on the monster, tearing it apart into pieces like they were trying to grab a handful of as much wealth as they could.
It didn’t take much time as the monster was torn apart with blood everywhere covering each soldier’s who recovered back their senses as they looked in horror at the piece of flesh they were holding so dearly to.
Ikenga watched as the cursed soul left the dead monster body looking bigger, the soul was about to escape into the void when Ikenga stopped it.
Focusing on the soul, a memory began flashing in Ikenga’s eyes. He dug deep into the memories to see the reason for the transformation.
In the memory he saw how this noble liked wealth, to the level he also took people’s wealth and gained from them in the name of him withholding and keeping it safe.
In his small territory, nobody was being paid for their work, even the guards and soldiers that work under him aren’t being paid instead they all work for him because of fear they have for the royal family and law.
All this led to people having a huge resentment against him and wishing him bad whenever they could, over the years he has had all this accumulated on him.
If Ikenga didn’t create the cursed spirit nothing would have happened to the noble till the end of his life but now he was dead because of Ikenga’s action.
The same was happening all over the planet, no race was spared as long as a certain among of bad wishes has been laid upon someone they directly become the target of cursed spirits.
This got the attention of other gods as they looked with anger seeing the race attuned to them being turned into monsters.
Crepuscular in his realm looked at the harpies surrounding other harpies that have been turned into a cursed monster and killing them off, gritting his teeth in anger, he roared out "Ikenga"
The roar was only heard by the gods and no one else, crepuscular wasn’t the only one mad Jaws and Mahu noticed the chaos raging in their children kingdom from the indirect action of Ikenga.
Ikenga in his realm heard a crepuscular voice and in response he disappeared from his realm appearing outside the planet with their world floating under them.
In response to his appearance, Crepuscular flaming figure appeared opposite to him "What the hell do you think you are doing?"
Ikenga still feeling high off the full activation of his cursed divinity responded lazily "I don’t see why I have to explain myself to you"
Crepuscular finger squeezed hard as he could hear the sound of his children being killed off because they were turned into ugly monsters.
In response to Ikenga word, he turned into a golden light that immediately appeared in front of Ikenga. Ikenga was taken back by the speed but he managed to spit out "Isolation curse"
The tattoo on his body flashed and without Ikenga performing any action to dodge, he felt the world around him move, moving him out of the way of the Crepuscular figure.
Surprise flashed in the eyes of crepuscular as Ikenga was able to dodge past him at his speed, the same thing was repeated with crepuscular wanting Ikenga and Ikenga managing to move out of the way each time.
Ikenga was feeling giddy at what he was able to do, so he wanted to explore more of his new divinity. Right now he cursed himself with Isolation meaning that with this curse no one will be able to touch him as he will be isolated from everything.
But this came at a price, his senses and body was beginning to panic as the isolation was getting to him, before he was connected to the planet and he could feel the coldness of the space around him but the isolation curse took all that away and now he was craving to feel something. The worst part of it is that since he was under the curse he can’t even touch the Crepuscular in turn.
It took most of his willpower not to retract the curse to see its limit, Crepuscular was light itself and he was moving so fast the only thing Ikenga was able to see was light but whenever he was about to get touched by crepuscular the curse moved him out the way.
Opening his mouth "Deceleration curse" Ikenga said as the curse attached itself to Crepuscular fast moving figure, for a second Ikenga was able to catch sight of Crepuscular but with a flash of light the curse was broken.
"I need more power" Ikenga thought to himself after seeing that. He was about to do that when the other gods appeared around them. That got Crepuscular to stop as he looked at his siblings, meanwhile Mahu rushed toward Ikenga figure to catch hold of him but when she was about to touch him the curse acted again moving him out of the way, causing Mahu to stop and looking at him surprised.
Ikenga’s eyes flashed purple as the curse was taken back, Immediately he was hit back with all the sensation he had lost. As a god of nature, Ikenga was connected to a lot of life forms on his planet and this connection was constant but the curse took all that away leaving him in silence and as soon as the curse was taken back and he felt the long lost connection tears threatened to leave his eyes.
Looking at Mahu who was looking at her empty hand, Ikenga took hold of her hand as he brought her in for a long hard hug. Mahu was taken back but she responded accordingly as she hugged back harder.
Ikenga having calmed down looked over to Crepuscular, as he left Mahu and flew over to him "I am sorry for my behavior brother, I didn’t know what i did was going to have such consequences"
Crepuscular eyes flashed golden, sighing he closed in on Ikenga taking hold of his hand "Can i at least get an answer on why you did what you did"
The other gods also looked curious except for Keles who was looking at Ikenga with an expression of someone that owed them something. "I will answer your question but sister, why are you looking at me that way?"
Keles flew close to Ikenga as she looked at his cursed tattoo, Stretching out her pale hand from her dark robes, she ran her fingers over the tattoo before saying to Ikenga "You owe me?"
It took a while for Ikenga to understand what was said so he looked over to death itself and asked "How do I repay you for your generosity?"
Keles took her hands back before responding "Your tree and snake may be needed for my daughter’s ascension"
Ikenga was taken back by her word but seeing as he kept others waiting he nodded "We can talk about this later"
Looking at all his siblings Ikenga said "This is a good time for you all to see my realm and it’s two new habitant"
