Chapter 923: 444 Missing_3 Chapter 923: 444 Missing_3 Aubree Groove frowned at Hellena Groove, “Hellena, what are you doing?”

Hellena stuck out her tongue, “Oh, come on, Aubree.

I was just joking!”

Aubree looked at Silvia Hayes, “I apologize.

My sister can be quite mischievous.”

By now, what else could Silvia Hayes say?

These two sisters really seemed to work together well—one played the “good cop,” the other the “bad cop.”

They both seemed quite cunning.

“It’s alright, your younger sister is very adorable.” The look on Silvia Hayes’s face showed no signs of displeasure.

Hellena gave her a sarcastic laugh, “Adorable, my foot!”

Turning to Aubree, Hellena looped her arm through Aubree’s and they began to walk away, “Aubree, some people are so annoying, like a sticky bug!”

As Titi Groove passed by Silvia Hayes, she glanced at her, not missing the fleeting expression of ill intent in Silvia’s eyes.

...

Titi frowned; when it came to stirring up trouble, Hellena was second to none.

Even a rabbit would bite when cornered, and Silvia Hayes was definitely no fragile rabbit.

By the time Silvia Hayes looked back, Titi had already turned to leave.

Even without turning around, Titi could feel Silvia’s stare on her back, as if she wanted to bore holes into it.

This Silvia Hayes was not to be underestimated.

The Plum Garden was just next to Brooks Bridge.

Aubree took a small basket from a servant and handed it to Madam Elijah, patiently explaining how to pick the petals of a plum blossom.

Madam Elijah was eager to learn, and soon, she filled her basket.

Alexa Gatten also picked a fair share, Titi Groove always stayed by Aubree’s side as a well-mannered young lady, whereas Hellena Groove was restless, running around in the May Forest.

Her pink dress made her look like a playful elf, darting between the plum trees.

Once they had finished picking the petals, Aubree led them to the winery.

The process of brewing wine was complex and couldn’t be done in a day. 𝓃𝓸𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶

They agreed another date for wine-making with Madam Elijah, Alexa Gatten and Madam Gatten.

Soon, it was lunchtime.

The time flew by, and before they knew it, it was time for lunch.

Lunch was set up in the Groove Hall in the center.

According to the number of guests they had that day, they set out four tables.

Though it wasn’t as extravagant as the Nine Sets Meal, the signature dishes from the Oncoe Building were still served.

Everyone felt like they had gotten their money’s worth.

They got to appreciate the scenery, received the Sweet Wine Plum Cake, and enjoyed a feast from the Oncoe Building.

If Aubree held such banquets more often, that would be wonderful.

More importantly, they could get close to Madam Elijah.

Not to mention other noble ladies and wives from various families, it was simply an excellent place for networking.

Just as they were about to start the meal, Dallyn quickly walked over to Aubree and whispered something in her ear.

Aubree’s expression remained calm as she gently said, “Madam, I have some matters to attend to.

I must leave first.

Could you please help me look after things here?”

Madam Elijah nodded, “Go ahead, I’ll take care of things here.”

Aubree gave a pointed look at the fidgety Hellena; Hellena instantly quieted down and properly took her seat.

Titi nodded her head in response, and only then did Aubree get up to leave.

Silvia Hayes stared at Aubree’s retreating figure when she suddenly heard, “Silvia, are you still mad at me?

I know I messed up.

Can you forgive me?”

Silvia shot her a glance, “Sit down.”

Jenny Linggo quickly sat down next to her.

There were just enough seats at the main table for six people, and none were left for Silvia Hayes.

Everyone was wary of her, and no one dared to sit next to her.

Thus, the seats next to Silvia were left empty.

Silvia Hayes scanned the room and frowned suddenly, “Where are Lexi Benz and Solene Moore?”

Aubree stepped out of the Groove Hall, “Maddy Spinter is missing?”

“Yes.

According to the timeline, she left at 10:15.

A servant saw her running north, but the north side is off-limits at the villa.

From what I heard from people here, there used to be a prison there a long time ago, where many people died.

The resentment there is intense, and people usually dare not approach.

Maddy Spinter couldn’t have run there, could she?”

While walking north, Aubree asked, “What about Gideon Moore?”

“Mistress,” a middle-aged man approached with quick strides.

This man was the housekeeper of the villa, Gideon Moore.

He was said to have protected the Dreamy Villa for generations.

“I’ve already mobilized everyone in the villa to go looking.

Out of consideration for the natural environment, very few electronic devices have been installed in the villa.

Otherwise, we could just check the surveillance system.”

Aubree glanced at him, and though it was a fleeting glance, the composed Gideon Moore looked somewhat discomfited.

Dallyn walked up with her phone, “Mistress, neither Miss Benz nor Miss Moore returned home.”

Aubree showed no sign of panic.

Instead, she stopped, and glanced sideways at Gideon Moore.

“Butler Moore, the entire villa is under your control, and three people have disappeared.

Are you telling me you know nothing about it?” The young lady spoke in a calm tone, but the pressure it carried was palpable.

Gideon Moore sighed, “Mistress, there were too many guests today.

I couldn’t manage everyone.

The matter at hand isn’t about placing blame.

We need to find the three people.”
