Chapter 259: Chapter 260 Preparations Before Manufacturing
At noon, everyone was still eating meat from the Sabertooth Beast, as the newly hunted game had not been processed yet.
Upon seeing this, Uncle Lini was so anxious that he was about to burst.
"Su Tang, when can we start making smoked meat? It’s quite hot in the valley, and the game won’t keep for long! If we don’t handle it quickly, it will rot away soon!"

Yuanyuan and Meng Ze had not yet found the plant she wanted, so without steam, she had no way to process the large chunks of meat.
The only option was to cut the meat into long thin strips, marinate it with a layer of salt, and then smoke it over the fire until it dried up.
Although this method also worked, the smoked meat strips were like snacks to the Beastmen, and they consumed a lot of salt!

She paused for a moment, then looked up at Gaiyin, "I’ll be here all afternoon, so if you have other plans, feel free to go. Don’t worry about me!"
Instead of refusing, Gaiyin nodded, "Alright then, will you be okay here by yourself?"
Su Tang gave him a radiant smile, "I’m not a child... not a cub anymore! Why wouldn’t I be okay? Besides, Aunt Hongguo and the others are here to keep me company!"
Gaiyin still seemed uneasy, he looked to Uncle Lini and said, "I have to go out, please take good care of her!"
Uncle Lini expressed his affirmation through a firm nod, "Don’t worry! I’m here! No one will be able to harm her!"
Gaiyin’s eyes again landed on Su Tang, he stared intensely at her for a while before exhaling, and tightly held her in his arms.
If it weren’t for the danger, Gaiyin would really want to take Su Tang with him!
