Chapter 467: Chapter 468: Old Affairs 5

Wen Jue quietly stepped back two steps. Although he didn’t speak, his actions made it clear that he too found it disgusting.

Aqi snorted, reached out and squeezed the slowly solidifying tree sap. It was soft, and could be shaped into whatever she wanted, interestingly without sticking to her hands.

Such a fun object, yet these two blockheads found it disgusting. How boring they were.

After several days on the road, everyone started to feel a bit tired.

Just then, they stumbled upon a cave that was neither too big nor too small, just right for them. As a result, they decided to stay there for the time being.

The cave was dirty in some places and slightly better in others. Aqi liked cleanliness, so she prepared to clean up.

Wen Jue solidified a grid of gold bars and blocked off the cave entrance, ensuring good ventilation and light, and preventing any large wild beasts from breaking in.

Since the grid was only meant to keep out large wild beasts, the gaps left were enough for Aqi to crawl out, making Hai Qin quite worried.

He exhorted in detail, "You must stay in the cave, don’t go anywhere, wait for us to return!"

Aqi nodded, "I know!"

Though she too had awakened her superpower, she was far less gifted than these two ’younger brothers’. Despite being much older than them, they had already achieved energy solidification, while she was still stuck at Level 3. Comparing oneself to others could really be annoying.

If the two of them were with her, she might have taken some risks, knowing they could escape if things turned south. But if left alone, she would be more timid than anyone else!

Confident in his own superpowers, Wen Jue reassured Hai Qin,"We’ll be back soon, just need to hunt down some prey. The sun will set soon and it’s going to be more dangerous for Aqi alone in the cave!"

Only then did Hai Qin nod his head and leave with Wen Jue.

After they left, Aqi stretched lazily. She put the Long-eared Beast she had just formed with Xiluo Tree sap on a rock in the cave. Afterwards, she cheered herself on and began cleaning up the cave.

Since her superpower was water, cleaning was exceptionally convenient. However, after washing the entire cave with water, she was so exhausted she could barely stand straight.

Sitting down to rest, she noticed a strange problem.

"Huh? Where did the Long-eared Beast I just made go?"

Aqi blinked in puzzlement. She was sure she had put the Long-eared Beast on the rock next to her. How could it have disappeared?

Could it be that she had inadvertently swept it away while cleaning the cave?

With this thought in mind, Aqi got up and peered through Wen Jue’s solidified net, but found nothing.

Not long after, Wen Jue and Hai Qin returned. When the metal grid was retracted, Aqi took advantage of the remaining light to search outside, but to no avail.

Seeing this, Hai Qin asked in surprise, "What’s wrong, sis? What are you looking for? Can I help?"

Aqi shook her head, "It’s nothing, just that the Long-eared Beast I made on the road is gone. It’s a bit strange."

Hai Qin scoffed, "You can make Long-eared Beasts? Maybe it thought you made it too ugly to live, so it went to serve the Beast God, hahaha!"

Aqi, her face turning red with anger, pounded at Hai Qin with her small fists, "If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all! Be careful, I’ll beat you!"

Hai Qin shouted as he dodged, "Ah! I’m so scared! Hahaha!"
