Chapter 501: Chapter 502: I could even be your grandpa!

At this thought, Gaiyin’s ears turned a little pink.
He no longer felt as repulsed by Hua Sheng and Hua Mo as before. Perhaps he was just trying to get used to life after having cubs!
Gaiyin looked down at Hua Mo, "Have you eaten yet?"
Hua Mo shook his head.
Su Tang had peeked in on them before she left, but little Hua Mo had been sleeping, so she didn’t wake him up and quietly left, closing the door behind her.
Today, Little Hua had missed breakfast and slept until just a while ago, so he was likely very hungry.
Gaiyin hesitated for a moment before saying, "You can come too; it’s about time for lunch anyway."
With that, he prepared to carry Hua Sheng out the door.
Hua Mo grabbed a corner of Gaiyin’s cloak.
Gaiyin turned his head and asked, "What’s wrong?"
Hua Mo pointed at a beast-hide cloak hanging on the wall, then pointed at Hua Sheng.
"Hua Sheng gets cold easily, she needs to wear this when she goes out!"
Gaiyin suddenly realized what Hua Mo meant and took down the beast-hide cloak. He carefully wrapped Hua Sheng in it, leaving only her little head poking out.
When he grabbed her again, she no longer had the softness of bare hands and feet but was instead effectively bound, making her much easier to carry.
Gaiyin released a sigh of relief, feeling as though he had a knack for taking care of cubs.
He looked back at Hua Mo, "Is there anything else you need to do?"
Hua Mo: "..."
Given how excited Hua Sheng looked, Hua Mo swallowed back his words about her being uncomfortable.
He shook his head, "No, let’s go."
When they reached the door, Gaiyin had a sudden idea. He went back to the room to take down another cloak from the wall and draped it over Hua Mo’s head.
Feeling like a qualified father, Gaiyin wore a proud expression and said in a matter-of-fact tone, "It’s cold outside. Put it on!"
Hua Mo: "..."
He smiled on the outside, but inside, he cursed internally.

Hua Mo had lived for many seasons. He was older than Gaiyin’s father; he could even be Gaiyin’s grandfather!
But this young cub actually wanted to be his father!

Gaiyin maintained his smug expression, "The cubs are hungry, so I brought them to grab a bite!"

Upon seeing Su Tang, Hua Sheng instinctively wanted to raise her hands for a hug, but the beast-hide cloak restrained her, so she could only agitatedly make noises.
Seeing this, Su Tang quickly took Hua Sheng from Gaiyin, helped her out of the beast-hide cloak, and took the opportunity to kiss her cute, fair little cheek.
"Shengsheng, be good. I’m going to prepare something for you to eat now~"
