Chapter 502: Chapter 503: La Si’s Saliva
Hua Sheng stared blankly at the little fish cake in Hua Mo’s hand, his saliva dripping down like strands of silk.
Hua Mo softened at the sight and, with his stubby little legs, lifted the fish cake to Hua Sheng’s mouth to feed him.
Hua Sheng, seeing this, opened his mouth wide, showing his two rice-sized teeth.
Unable to contain himself, another string of glistening saliva dripped onto the ground.
Because Su Tang was holding Hua Sheng and squatting on the ground, with Hua Sheng laying on her shoulder, Hua Mo’s height was just about right to reach them.
Earth Fruit happened to pass by the door after sending out the fish balls and saw this scene.
She quickly walked over, bent down and picked Hua Mo up by his armpits, moving him to the other side, whilst muttering under her breath.
"Oh no, my little cub, you cannot feed this to your sister, she’ll get sick if she eats it! Remember that, okay?"
Hua Mo’s eyes widened slightly.
So, eating this will make your little sister sick?
Then he couldn’t let her eat it.
Hua Sheng was on the verge of reaching the little fish cake when it was suddenly taken away. He felt wronged, his eyes filled with unshed tears.
Despite being confronted with Hua Sheng’s greedy yet pitiful gaze, Hua Mo remained unmoved!
Hua Sheng huffed in annoyance, turning his head away, refusing to look at Hua Mo.
Gaiyin finished the little fish cake in one bite, and took Hua Sheng into his arms, saying, "I’ll watch her; you make her something to eat."
Su Tang was taken aback, "Isn’t the little fish cake tasty? Or don’t you like it?"
"No, it’s really good, I like it very much."
"Then why didn’t you eat more?"
"I’m waiting for you to eat with me."
Gaiyin held Hua Sheng, looking at her seriously.
Su Tang flinched for a moment, feeling as if they were a happy family of three.
Embarrassed by her thoughts, Su Tang’s cheeks turned slightly red, and she coughed lightly.
She turned around to start preparing food for Hua Sheng.
Compared to other meats, fish is more suitable for children to eat, but large pieces of fish had been minced. 𝓃𝓸𝓋𝓅𝓾𝒷.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Su Tang scooped some of the fish paste into the wok to simmer, and the fresh aroma of fish filled the air. Seizing the moment, she added a large bowl of fish soup to lock in the aroma.
The fish soup was cooked to a milky white colour, looking quite appetizing. The people from the clan who saw this couldn’t help but swallow their saliva.
She washed the rice, poured it into the pot, then put the lid on and boiled it on high heat. During this time, she found a small Earth Fruit, cleaned it and diced it, then added it to the boiling soup.
After about the time it takes to brew a pot of tea, she removed the lid again. A plume of white steam billowed out, accompanied by the faint, delicious aroma.
The rice was cooked to the point of being mushy and the fish paste had broken into small pieces, mingling with the sticky, milky-white soup, which also contained pieces of Earth Fruit.
Hua Sheng, held by Gaiyin, was unable to stop drooling, as if she knew that the pot contained her meal, her eyes almost lit up!
For such a long period of time, her diet had consisted of egg custard, rice porridge or mashed things. It was her first time trying this fish porridge as meat; she was nearly drooling in anticipation!
Su Tang sprinkled a little bit of salt, stirred the soup a few times clockwise with a spoon, then finally sprinkled some chopped spring onions as a garnish, so that the meat porridge was not just a single colour.
Su Tang ladled out two spoonsful into a bowl, took Hua Sheng from Gaiyin and said, "There’s still a lot of porridge. You and Hua Mo have some fish cakes and this fish porridge!"
Gaiyin nodded lightly, "Hm, have you eaten yet?"
"Not yet, I’m not in a hurry. You guys eat first. It’s not too late for me to eat after you’ve finished."
