Perhaps it was due to the fact that no one was around, but Su Tang constantly felt that the temperature here was significantly lower than the other places.
Unable to resist shivering, she tightly hugged her arms and rubbed them with force.
Noticing this, Gaiyin immediately took off his Beast Skin Clothes and offered it to Su Tang.
Of course, Su Tang refused, "What are you doing? Put it back on, it’s freezing outside. You might catch a cold!"
Gaiyin blandly countered, "I’m not cold. I have my Primordial Power Shield, you go ahead and wear it!"
Holding Gaiyin’s hand, Su Tang felt its remarkable warmth, akin to a furnace, and couldn’t help but sigh internally. 𝓃𝓸𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶
She was already wearing a fall shirt under her Beast Skin Clothes, and a thermal shirt after that. She knew how cold it used to get at the coldest times back on Blue Star, she would dress pretty much like this.
But she hadn’t expected that on arriving to the Beastman Continent, the onset of winter alone was causing her to struggle. What was she going to do when the big chill came?
It seemed like she would need to quickly make her way to Ten Thousands Beast Country as soon as it warmed up. Once she had improved her constitution and awakened her Superpower, she could be like Qiu Mo and others. They were able to resist the cold by merely wearing thin Beast Skin Clothes!
Engrossed in such thoughts, her body gave yet another shiver due to the intolerable chill.
Gaiyin held Su Tang tightly, attempting to share his body heat with her. Regrettably, the thick beast skin in-between rendered this strategy useless.
He pursed his lips, "When we get back, I’ll ask Aunt Hongguo to tailor an extra cloak for you. This way, you can put it in your space to protect you from the cold when needed."
Su Tang exhaled a puff of hot air, "No need, the Tribe is running low on animal skins. I’m afraid there won’t be enough when the Mermaid Clan arrives, as we’ll need to prepare Beast Skin Clothes for them."
Upon seeing this, Yadang offered, "I still have a few animal skins that I hadn’t used earlier. They’re not of prime quality but they can at least provide some warmth. I can make a cold-resistant cloak for you first."
Just when Su Tang was about to tactfully decline, Gaiyin accepted on her behalf, "Alright, I’ll get it when we go back."
Yadang nodded and turned towards Gaiya, "How much farther?"
Wiping off the beads of sweat on his brow, Gaiya pointed to the forest ahead, "Not much further! We just need to pass through this forest."
The snow on the ground reached up to Su Tang’s calves, which made walking a bit difficult for her and consequently, she slowed down.
Having contemplated for a bit, Yadang suggested, "Take your time and be careful not to fall. I’ll go ahead with Gaiya and see where Qiu Mo is."
Su Tang quickly nodded. She had been wanting to say the same for a while now, but hadn’t known how to voice it.
"You better go. In this freezing weather, Momo is alone and injured. She must be both cold and scared. You should go and keep her company."
Yadang nodded, grasped the collar of Gaiya’s shirt, and prepared to leave.
Gaiya struggled a bit resentfully, "Can’t you at least carry me?"
Yadang gave Gaiya’s bottom a slap, "Your demands are never-ending, huh?"
Su Tang couldn’t help but laugh, "Oh yeah, when you get there, check if Momo’s ankle is red and swollen. If so, have her lay her leg flat and apply a snowball to her swollen area. I’ll take a look at the rest when I get there."
"Alright, I got it."
Once done talking, Yadang swiftly carried Gaiya away and ventured into the forest. Their figures soon disappeared.
Su Tang issued a sigh, Superpower! Superpower! Superpower! One day, she would become just as powerful!
She could only wonder, once she managed to improve her constitution, which race would she belong to? And what kind of superpower she would awaken?
The thought itself was thrilling!
It was truly something to look forward to!
