Chapter 834: Chapter 838: The Fourth Trial 11

"Alas, this damn Cave has nothing but those fading battle traces!"

Yadang walked over nonchalantly, intending to sit next to Qiu Mo but was yanked aside by Xi’en who had followed him and grabbed his collar.

Yadang: Do I have no dignity at all? Huh?

After all, he would be his future brother-in-law, so Yadang didn’t dare to speak his anger.

He sat next to Xi’en, sulking like a little wife.

No sooner had he sat down than Su Tang grabbed his arm excitedly.

"Brother, what did you just say? Say it again?"

Yadang was utterly baffled, thinking: What did he just say?

Turning his eyes slyly, he tested the waters, "This damn Cave has nothing at all!"

Su Tang shook her head anxiously, "No, no, the sentence before that."

Yadang was very confused; he had only said that one sentence just now. After trying hard to recall, he repeated the original words.

"This damn Cave has nothing but those fading battle traces!" 𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑝𝑢𝘣.𝘤𝑜𝘮

"That’s it! That exact sentence!"

Su Tang slapped her thigh fiercely, her voice raising several pitches, startling everyone around her.

Before everyone could react, Su Tang ran to where the battle traces were and squatted down to inspect them closely.

The traces originally were more than a foot deep. It hadn’t been long, and the traces had already faded quite a bit. She believed it wouldn’t be long before they disappeared completely.

It was Yadang’s words just now that made Su Tang think of when they had first arrived at The Fourth Round Test; she faintly saw something carved on the Stone Wall of the outermost Cave.

But when she had entered just before, she took an extra look and saw nothing, so she didn’t think much of it.

Now, however, a faint Thought in Su Tang’s mind told her that the clue she needed was on the outside of the Cave’s hillside, and she must go out and see no matter what!

And hadn’t the butler mentioned in the rules of the test that competitors could choose to return?

Once the Thought ignited in her heart, it became even more intense.

Under the perplexed gazes of everyone, Su Tang suddenly stood up again.

"The clues might very well be outside; let’s go take a look!"

Having said this, Su Tang didn’t wait for anyone else’s reaction and ran straight towards the outside of the Cave, with Gaiyin following closely behind her.

After a two-second pause, the others followed suit.

Su Tang was the first to arrive outside the Cave, and looking at the Stone Wall before her which seemed no different, she felt somewhat nervous.

Yadang caught up from behind, "Tang cub, are you sure there are clues outside?"

Su Tang didn’t speak. She stretched out her hand and touched the Stone Wall. It was hard and cold to the touch, just like any ordinary stone.

Not giving up, Su Tang began to broadly stroke other parts of the Stone Wall.

Seeing this, Yadang sighed and said, "Tang cub, how could clues possibly be in a place like this? Surely it..."

He had only gotten halfway through his sentence before swallowing it back down.

Because, under Su Tang’s touch, the Stone Wall was ’puff puff’ shedding little bits of stone.

Once the shedding was finished, a very simple line drawing appeared on the Stone Wall.

Su Tang finally breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Gaiyin with a smug, satisfied smile.

Gaiyin ruffled her hair with his hand and, with a smile, said, "Well done!"

Now she didn’t need to say anything more. The others, like hungry wolves, pounced towards the Stone Wall, feeling it from top to bottom and side to side.

Accompanied by a shower of falling stone debris, dust rose into the air...
