Chapter 869: Chapter 874: The Fifth Trial 17

Yadang stepped on Godzilla’s giant eyeball, teasing cheerily, "Oh really? Then I won’t compete with you for the spotlight in front of the cub. You just keep fighting!"

Gaiyin sliced off a spider leg that stabbed towards him, gasping slightly, "As you wish."

Xi’en wiped the sweat from his forehead.

He hadn’t been much help in the recent battle, but his Primordial Power had been depleted twice.

Even though he had one more opportunity to take a Primordial Power Pill, Xi’en felt it was somewhat wasteful to use it directly, since Godzilla no longer posed a threat to them. If he just found a quiet place to meditate, he could recover his Primordial Power quickly.

So, he headed straight for the stone wall nearby, which seemed less dirty and chaotic, a good spot to sit and rest for a while.

Qi glanced at Yadang and said flatly, "Finish it off. I’m going to look for Amo."

Yadang nodded.

He raised his great sword high, ready to plunge it down.

The Godzilla beneath him, as if sensing what was about to happen, began to struggle violently. Yadang lost his footing and his figure involuntarily shook.

In the meantime, Qiu Mo carefully lifted the vine blocking the entrance of the Stone Cave.

Since females in Beast World did not possess night vision abilities in the dark, a clueless Qiu Mo did not see the fallen Godzilla not far from her.

By the time Yadang finally managed to stabilize himself and was ready to put an end to Godzilla’s life, from the corner of his eye, he suddenly spotted Qiu Mo directly in front of Godzilla’s maw.

A shock ran through Yadang’s heart!

He bellowed, "Amo, run!"

Qiu Mo, who had just crawled out of the Stone Cave, was utterly bewildered. She heard Yadang’s voice and instinctively started to run.

But because she couldn’t discern directions, she ran straight towards Godzilla’s gaping mouth.

"Fuck!"

Yadang cursed loudly as he forcefully drove his great sword into Godzilla’s brow.

Godzilla continued to struggle defiantly, its large eyes flickering, its belly slowly bulging. It was clearly gathering energy to launch a final blow.

Yadang’s forehead throbbed uncontrollably, but he did not dare to pause. He sprinted towards Qiu Mo, embracing her and then started to flee to the side with her in his arms.

Seeing Xi’en standing there dazed up ahead, Yadang yelled, "Run, you idiot!"

Xi’en was puzzled but he still got up and ran as Yadang had commanded.

But it was already too late.

Qi, who had rushed back after hearing the noise, arrived just in time to see Godzilla spitting out a white substance, shooting rapidly towards Yadang, Qiu Mo, and Xi’en.

That moment nearly stopped Qi’s breath.

The Spider Web was more than twice as fast as them and caught up within seconds.

Feeling the pressure, Yadang immediately knelt on one knee, protecting Qiu Mo’s head with one hand from knocks and bracing himself against the ground with the other, creating a small space for Qiu Mo.

Running, Xi’en felt something tugging at his back, causing him to fall face down to the ground, his forehead hitting hard and knocking him unconscious for a brief moment.

This turn of events happened too quickly and unexpectedly.

There was no time to react, but the outcome was already decided.

Qi ran over to the side of the Spider Web with a grim expression, looking at the bulging part in the middle and asked, "Yadang, Amo, how are you?"

Inside the Spider Web—

Qiu Mo curled up under Yadang, still with an obviously stunned expression.

She still hadn’t grasped what had just happened.
