A Godzilla gave chase to Xi, while the other two followed closely behind Gaiyin, both frequently looking back while running to check the distance between themselves and Godzilla.
Because of Godzilla’s enormous size and the walls that blocked their way, it couldn’t catch up with them immediately, yet they dared not let down their guard.
Although the Godzillas they had hunted before only spat out their Spider Web when on the brink of death, this was merely a guess of theirs.
The Spider Web might not be lethal, but it would certainly eliminate you from the competition.
It seemed like there were still three of them left, but in truth, Su Tang was utterly defenseless and even needed protection; only Gaiyin and Xi were truly capable of exerting force.
Under the high concentration of their minds, coupled with intense physical activity, the two quickly depleted their stamina.
After running around in big circles, their paths collided.
Gaiyin was about to change direction when he suddenly saw the Godzilla behind Xi stop, its belly rapidly inflating and contracting, that look—it was just like—
Gaiyin’s black vertical pupils slightly narrowed, and he waved to Xi, "Quick, dodge!"

Thank goodness they had heard Gaiyin and dodged in time, or else they would have been done for.

Xi’s breathing became heavy, "I, I’m running out of energy."
They did have Satiety Pills, but not many, and they had already taken two that day. They didn’t know what the situation would be later and could not afford to deplete their resources here recklessly.
Gaiyin looked up at the sky.
The pitch-black night sky, like spilled ink, had not a trace of light; dawn was still a long way off, and it wasn’t suitable to continue the struggle.
So he made a split decision and nodded, "Back to the safe house."
Their speed was fast.
Soon, they saw the structure of the safe house.
In truth, there was no need to search deliberately; the walls around the safe house had been destroyed and pushed down by Godzilla, with only the safe house standing erect.
Without the slightest delay, the two dashed into the safe house.
At the same time, the Godzilla outside, having lost its target, suddenly stopped, looking somewhat confused as it turned a few circles in place, then slowly crawled away.
Su Tang greeted them with a tense expression, "How is it? Are you hurt?"
Gaiyin shook his head, "No, don’t worry."
Xi wiped the sweat from his forehead and collapsed onto the ground, breathing heavily.
Once the two caught their breath,
Gaiyin looked at Xi, "We’ll wait here for two days, interact more with Godzilla, and when we are fully adapted, it will not be too late to set out."
Xi nodded, "Yes, I was thinking the same thing."
In fact, with their strength, delaying for one night was not a problem provided they found the right approach.
