The sound of horse hooves hitting the floor resounded in the dark underbelly that was the undercity of duan city.
"Hmm? We aren’t being followed?" Jade who was in her usual white vail frowned. Leon had lead them to the undercity, the main base of the warlocks.
Normally, no mage at level 3 and above could enter the undercity without being monitored by the warlocks. It was a "security" measure as they would usually say .
But ever since they entered the west, there hadn’t been any movement. It was strange because they had 2 level 3 mages here.
"We are almost there" Leon said calmly. He wasn’t worried about not being tracked because, he had a good relationship with a few of the peak level 3 warlocks here, and Bartholomew was his person....
There was no need to be bothered about anything.
A few minutes later, they arrived before the western Wall of the undercity. At the edge of the undercity there were several cave networks that streched as far as the eyes could see.
They were numerous and crawling with criminals...
"Phewww, phewwww, what a hot chick"
"Hey, beautiful....come accompany me for the night"
"Don’t cover up beautiful princess....we are here for you"
As Leon and the rest made their way along the wall side, numerous ruffians catcalled Arian and jade. Even though they had faceless masks on, they couldn’t escape their lustful looks and stares.
However, both of them didn’t react, they had both eyes fixed on the goal before them.
At least that was until....

A massive silhouette dropped down from one of thw cave and landed right before Leon.
This person was massive, eclipsing Leon and the rest with just his shadow. He was called bulldozer, a strange name for this time period...but he got it from his ability to clear all and every target placed before him.
His strength was phenomenal and he stood at level 2, the strongest person here.
"Hey little man, are these sexy b*tches behind you, yours?" The fat man looked down at Leon and asked.
He wasn’t the type to go after any random chicks he saw on the streets, he wanted to top notch ones. It was what befitted his status as a gang boss.
"Hmmmm, you’re in the way" Leon said coldy, this guy was crazy, why did he just jump infront of him from out of the blue and start asking him stupid questions?
"Punny little ant, I, Davos asked you a question and you’re going to ignore? Do you have a Death wish?" With a loud voice, the man in front of Leon said. No one in their right senses would defy him after seeing his size.
He was strong.
"Hehe, boss davos is about to lose his temper"
"That puny kid is dead"
"We will play with your beauties foe weeks"
The ruffians around mocked Leon and the rest. He had angered their boss in his territory, he was a goner.
At least that’s what they thought.
"Hmmm" upon seeing this davos lose his temper, Leon streched his hand sideways signalling to Arian not to take action.
Actually, Arian already had her hand of her sword and was ready to swing it at any given moment, but Leon didn’t need her to do anything right now.
"I said, you, are in the way!!!" Leon clenched his fist and punched out with a massive about of force.

The sound of the punch carried no real weight to it, to the layman, it even looked like a kid punching a fully grown man.
However, what it looked like was very diffrent from what it actually was.....because
In the next moment.

—Boom!!!!!
The gigantic body of this ruffian was sent flying into the air. He didn’t even have the time to react before his body collided with rocks in his surroundings.
"That....." The first person to feel shocked wasn’t the ruffians or even the man Leon has attacked. No, it was jade.
The force at which Leon attack this ruffians was something that couldn’t be achieved by just any mage.....in fact, she didn’t any mage at this level, that possessed such physical strength.
It was astonishing.
"Hey, he hurt the boss!!"
"Get him!!"
"F*ck him up, we’ll take his beauties after that"
About 20 of the ruffians got riled up by what leon just did and began to pick up weapons. They wouldn’t be bullied on their own turf.
"Sigh!!" Watching them getting ready to fight Leon sighed in helplessly. He didn’t like situations like these, he was just doing his own things and all of a sudden trouble presented itself.
"Might as well test my limits" Leon pulled out his twilight fengs and looked over at the crowd in front of him. Most of them were at level 1 at least with a few that didn’t even have sufficient talent to break free from the shackles of level 0.
Even this they were numerous, they were essentially weak in Leon’s eyes and would be a walk in the park.

Leon lounged forward and attacked them
5 minutes later, Leon emerged after decimating the entire group without even as much as a sweat.
"We are going up" Leon whipped some blood off his dagger and proceeded to begin walking up on the rocky formation.
As he did so, Arian and the rest followed close by.....Leon had tortured the sorcerer to get information on where he had been keeping all the kidnapped members of the faceless mercenary company and the results led him here.
Leon hoped to find Ember here so he could use her to fix Half-moon and enact some other opportunities.
But he had to find her first, so he started searching, he went high, he went low....the sorcerer was a master of disguise and espionage so it would naturally be hard to find anything hidden by him.
But Leon had his ways also.
"There" Leon stood facing a wall and said. His words immediately brought q frown on the faces of those around, but Leon paid them no mind.
"Kaga puppet" Leon said slowly and all of a sidden a gigantic puppet surfaced from behind them with eyes brimming with negative energy.
"Uhu???."
Noticing this new arrival, jade stepped back involuntarily. She could recognise this creature....wasn’t this the faystone ancestor?
"Open this cave" Leon commanded. He didn’t fear for jade to find out what he had done to the faystone ancestor....because essentially she was on his side, bit even then, it would be hard for her to get the full picture.
After all, the faystone ancestor was already an unrecognisable monster before he appeared....it didn’t change much for him to change some more. 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓅𝓊𝓫.𝒸ℴ𝓶
"Hmm" the kaga puppet walked forward slowly and pulled its hand back and....
—Boom!!!

It began releasing a barrage of punches at the wall in front of it causing a massive tremor to overtake the entire Area.
Even causing Arian and the rest loose footing, however, they didn’t leave. They stayed and waited, Leon wasn’t taking cover so they wouldn’t...

Soon the wall before them crumbled and revealed a hallow cave with a putrid smell.

Leon stepped forward and entered the cave, and after a while, he came out, but this time, he had in his hands a young lady around his age with scarlet hair.
She looked skinny and malnourished with her collar bones exposed and her skin pale white.....
"That....." Arian and the rest frowned heavily.
This person was Ember.
"Tell Half-moon to meet me in the faystone household.....he should come alone" Leon said to jade before proceeding to quickly walk down to his horse....
Whatever the sorcerer had done to those he had captured was so cruel that Leon couldn’t even help at this point, he had to rush back to the central City to see what he could do there.
And just like that Leon and Arian departed leaving only jade and the blade Demon.
"Oh my god" jade covered her mouth with her left hand and gasped in shock. The scene in the cave was heart wrenching a fate worse than death.
Meanwhile
"Open the gates!!!" Leon shouted at the top of his voice while approaching the faystone household with full speed.
"Hm?" One of Peri’s guards stuck his head out of the gate to see what was going on.
But before he could even think what was going on, Arian grabbed Leon by the collar and flew over the fence.

About 30 seconds later, they landed at the front of faystone mansion.....
"Prepare a room, and bring those treasures" after finally arriving Leon commanded Arian and the other guards.
They had to try and treat Ember, or else she wouldn’t make it...Leon was planning to use her as a bargaining chip, he couldn’t let her die just like that.
He had to do something about it at least
