Chapter 152: Chapter 152 Damon

After eating, Kyra felt a lot better. She had eaten more than she expected because the food was so delicious that she even licked her fingers clean.

She found it surprising that such a powerful dragon could be so good at cooking.

"You’re still wearing those old clothes, little thing," he said, eyeing her attire. "You need to wear something that can resist the cold. Come with me."

As he led her into another chamber, Kyra couldn’t help but wonder if this cave was meant for living or if it was a maze.

However, her thoughts were interrupted when her eyes widened at the sight before her.

Five wooden hangers stood in the middle of the room, each draped with numerous clothes. Most of them were in shades of silver, blue, and grey.

Curiosity got the better of her, and she walked closer, reaching out to touch the fabric.

Each piece was designed beautifully, decorated with delicate small gems and intricate, unknown patterns that looked mesmerizing.

She ran her fingers over the clothes, feeling the fine material and marveling at the craftsmanship. "These are incredible." she whispered, more to herself than to him

"I have designed them myself," he whispered near her neck, his breath warm against her skin. He looked at her side profile, his lips curling upward when he saw her looking at him.

Kyra almost jumped when he suddenly came closer. She felt the heat radiating from his body due to their closeness. "You haven’t told me your name, little female," he said, his voice a low rumble.

"Kyra." she replied, her hand gripping the clothes tighter.

"If you like them, you can have them. I just designed them randomly in my free time." he said, a sudden flash of heartache crossing his eyes.

"Your name?" Kyra asked.

Her dreamy hazel-blue eyes met his, and for a moment, an unknown emotion flickered in his gaze.

Then, a cunning smile appeared on his face. "Damon," he said with a smirk.

Kyra felt a chill run down her spine at his smile, but she couldn’t deny the strange attractive aura he had.

Damon. The name suited him—strong, enigmatic, and dangerous.

"Thank you, Damon," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "For the clothes and... everything."

He gave a slight nod, still smirking. "You’re welcome, little thing. Now, let’s move on. You have something to do for me if you don’t want to be eaten. Are you lost, far from your male?" he said, stepping closer. His tall nose brushed against her neck as he sniffed, and when she stepped back, he followed.

Kyra leaned against the snowy wall. Thanks to her thick sweater, she didn’t feel the cold. She raised her head and saw how much taller he was. He lowered his gaze, placing his hands on the wall, and sniffed her neck again. Kyra stood frozen.

"Hmm... I smell snake and wolf on you. Looks like you’re not from around here," he said.

Kyra’s eyes widened. "Where am I?" she asked.

"Celestia," he replied. "You’re in Spirit City!" His breath was warm on her face.

He kept looking at her face, making her feel shy and embarrassed.

His lips curled upward. "I will help you find your mates." he said. His long, thick finger tucked a strand of her red hair behind her ear and then trailed down her cheek, finally touching her plump, pink lips.

"I can find my way." Kyra replied, trying to sound confident. She didn’t trust this dragon. His gaze was too calculating, too predatory. She wanted to avoid any more contact with him.

"How will you find your way, little thing?" Damon said, his tone mocking. "Celestia is vast, and danger lurks around every corner. There are no weak beasts here. Do you think your pretty face will help you survive?" He stepped even closer.

"I will manage. Just let me go," Kyra insisted, shaking off his hand as she tried to walk away. But her wrist was caught by his thick, strong hand. He pulled her into his arms, her back pressed against his muscular chest.

His face was close to her neck as he sniffed her scent. Kyra struggled, but he whispered in a dangerous tone, "Oh, little thing, don’t move, or I might not be able to control myself. I could eat you, bone by bone, without hesitation."

Kyra shivered and froze, feeling the vibration of his laughter against her back. This man was so evil, so dangerous, she thought as his arms wrapped around her waist, holding her in place.

She tried to steady her breathing, her mind racing. "Please," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I just want to find my mates and go home."

Damon’s grip tightened for a moment, then he loosened his hold slightly.

He turned her around, his hands firmly gripping her shoulders as he looked at her face.

Her long red hair framed her delicate features, falling in soft waves.

Her plump pink lips were slightly parted, and her fair skin glowed with a natural charm. She looked delicate yet strong.

Surely many males would go wild for her, he thought.

"Change your clothes, little thing," he said, his eyes lingering on her.

"What..." Kyra’s voice trailed off as she realized he wasn’t moving. "Can you get out so I can change my clothes?"

"Why so shy, little thing?" he asked with a smirk, his eyes not leaving hers.

Kyra’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment and frustration. "I can’t change with you standing here," she insisted, her voice firmer.

Damon chuckled, the sound low and almost mocking. "Very well," he said, finally stepping back. "I’ll give you some privacy. But don’t take too long."

He turned and walked out of the chamber, but not before casting one last, lingering look over his shoulder.

Kyra waited until he was out of sight before letting out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding.

She quickly picked a dress and changed into it. The fabric was smooth and comfortable, wrapping her in warmth as she hurriedly dressed.
