Chapter 153: Chapter 153 Spirit City town (1)

Kyra put on the clothes and immediately felt warm. Her eyes widened with amazement at how such thin fabric could protect her from the extreme cold. 𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒑𝒖𝒃.𝙘𝙤𝒎

As she walked out, Damon looked up at her.

’Perfect’ he thought, the clothes fitting her well and revealing her figure in a way that could make any male lose control. She was more beautiful than most females he had ever seen. The clothes he had designed looked perfect on her, and his eyes flashed with a satisfied smile.

Kyra felt his gaze and blushed slightly, feeling self-conscious under his intense gaze.

Damon approached her slowly, his tall, muscular frame casting a shadow over her. He stopped just inches away, looking her up and down.

"The clothes suit you, little thing," he said, his voice low and smooth. "They bring out your beauty."

Kyra glanced down, unsure of how to respond. "Thank you," that’s all she managed to say.

His lips curled upward. "Hmmm... Since you’re new in Celestia, how about I give you a tour and, along the way, tell you what you need to do?" he said with an strange smile. Kyra shivered.

She was certain this Damon exuded a malevolent, villainous energy that was hard to ignore.

"Sit on my back, little thing." he said, shifting into his massive dragon form. Kyra looked up at his enormous dragon body.

She wasn’t sure how to climb his body, and she knew she shouldn’t shift into her beast form, or else her clothes would rip off.

Seeing her struggle, Damon lowered his body more. Hesitating, Kyra climbed onto him, trying to find a secure spot. She attempted to hug his neck, but his body was too wide for her arms to wrap around completely.

Finally, his wings spread, and he took off, flying through the cave tunnels and out into the open sky. She felt the wind rushing against her face as they soared higher and higher, almost touching the clouds.

A sudden smile appeared on her face. With one hand holding onto his scales, she lifted her other hand to reach for the clouds. It felt like a dream. The sky stretched endlessly around them, and the sensation of freedom was overwhelming.

For a moment, all her fears and doubts disappeared. She was flying, truly flying, and the world below seemed distant and insignificant.

The evening sun glinted off Damon’s blue scales, making him look even more magnificent.

Damon glanced back, noticing her smile. "Enjoying yourself, little thing?" he called out, his voice carrying easily over the wind.

Kyra nodded, unable to hide her joy. "It’s incredible," she replied, her voice filled with awe.

As they lowered from the sky, Kyra noticed the breathtaking view of a long river winding through the mountains. The sky gradually darkened, indicating the onset of night. She remembered falling asleep in Damon’s arms, unaware of the passage of time.

"I thought the night view would be better than the day’s," Damon said. He soon stopped near a high mountain platform and landed.

From there, Kyra could see the entire view of the forest and mountains, illuminated by the soft glow of the moon and stars.

Damon shifted into his human form and walked towards the edge of the mountain, sitting down. Kyra followed him and sat next to him, noticing he seemed lost in thought.

"Tell me something about yourself, Damon," Kyra asked.

Hearing her question, Damon froze for a moment. He wasn’t used to being asked such personal questions, especially by a female. But seeing her genuine interest, he decided to share a bit of his past.

"I’m 35 years old," he began, his voice steady but carrying a hint of emotion. "Most of my life was spent surviving the harsh winters and struggling against hunger. I used to live in Spirit City town, but three years ago, I moved to live alone."

Their lifespans were different from humans, so his age didn’t bother her.

Kyra listened intently, surprised by his openness. She hadn’t expected him to reveal so much. "Why did you leave the town?" she asked, trying to understand him better.

He looked away, his eyes hiding deep emotions. "I had some personal reasons." he replied, clearly keeping something back. Kyra sensed his reluctance and decided not to push him further.

"Tell me about yourself, little thing. You’re beautiful; you must have many males courting you, but I only sense the scent of two." he said, his gaze returning to her.

A smile appeared on her face. "It doesn’t matter how many males court me; I only care for my mates." she said, lost in the memory of them.

"You must love them very much. They are lucky to have you." he said, his eyes darkening as he looked at the sky, his thoughts clearly far away.

"No, I am the lucky one to have them." Kyra replied, her voice filled with warmth. Suddenly, her eyes widened and a gasp escaped her lips. The night sky was illuminated with beautiful colors, shifting from green to pink to blue and purple. It was a breathtaking sight.

"It’s an aurora," Damon said softly, noticing her awe. "It’s rare to see it this vibrant."

"It’s so beautiful," Kyra whispered, unable to take her eyes off the mesmerizing display. The colors danced across the sky, casting a magical glow over the landscape.

For a moment, they both sat in silence.

Kyra had never seen anything like it in her entire life. It was so beautiful that she held her breath, wishing Lucas, Toma, and Vincent were here to see it. Her wolf would have loved the view, probably jumping around with little Toma. She could even imagine Vincent looking at the sky with his cold but peaceful expression.

"We should go back now. I will take you to Spirit City town tomorrow morning," Damon said, his eyes flashing with an unreadable emotion.

Kyra nodded, her heart still racing from the breathtaking sight. She followed him as he shifted back into his dragon form. Climbing onto his back, she felt the warmth of his body against the cool night air. As they took off, she held on tightly, her mind still filled with the colors of the aurora.
