Chapter 351: Extra: Cute babies
"LOL! That parrot is me and Vincent was going to roast it, but now look at that parrot! It’s living in our tree with his lover and baby!" Lucas laughed loudly, his eyes dancing with mischief as he looked at their serious little girl.
Kaya, just five years old, had long red hair and bright red eyes. Her fair skin made her look delicate, but there was a powerful aura around her, just like Vincent.
Everyone surrounded her, grinning and laughing, but Kaya just stared at them, her expression serious. She didn’t even smile at Lucas’s joke, which made everyone chuckle even more.
"Come here, my baby," Kyra called as she walked toward her daughter. Kaya’s expression finally softened when she saw her mother, her serious expression melting away.
"Mumma!" Kaya exclaimed, running toward Kyra, her small frock designed by Damon swirling around her. The fabric was light and playful.
Kyra knelt down to embrace her, though a slight wince crossed her face as a period cramp hit her. It had turned out that after her last pregnancy, she had returned to having regular periods every month, just like humans. She sighed softly, but quickly masked it with a warm smile for her daughter.
"Your dad brought sweet fruits for you to try, hmm?" she said, trying to keep the mood light. Kaya nodded eagerly, kissing her mother’s cheek with a small giggle.
Kyra looked more mature and gorgeous than ever, her radiant smile breathtaking. The soft light in the room seemed to highlight her beauty, making her glow even more.
"Mommy, mommy!" little Orion chuckled as he hugged her legs tightly. His silver hair shimmered in the light, and his big blue eyes sparkled with excitement, glistening like they might spill over with joy at any moment. His chubby cheeks were irresistible, making Kyra’s heart swell with affection.
"Brother!" shouted another voice as a girl with long silver hair came racing toward them. Her hazel-blue eyes sparkled with the same excitement as Orion’s, and she looked strikingly similar to him.
"Ari!" Kyra exclaimed, Ari giggled and joined Orion at her feet, wrapping her arms around Kyra’s legs.
"Oy, my babies, come and hug daddy!" Lucas called out as he dashed toward them. Both children squealed with delight and raced outside, their laughter echoing in the air like music.
Kyra laughed at their joy, while Silas chuckled beside her, patting Lucas on the back. "Looks like someone’s left out," he teased, smirking at Lucas’s pout.
Lucas crossed his arms playfully. "Hey, I’m not that old! I can still join in the fun, you know!"
Kyra shook her head, smiling at the playful banter between them. She felt her heart overflow with love as she watched her children run around, knowing that these moments, filled with laughter and innocence, were what made their family complete.
Suddenly Kaya wriggled in Kyra’s arms, her bright eyes sparkling with excitement. "Daddy! Daddy!" she squealed, her little legs kicking in anticipation.
With a soft chuckle, Kyra gently set her down. The moment her feet touched the ground, Kaya took off like a little rocket, her small frame dashing toward Vincent with pure joy. "Daddy!" she called again, her voice ringing with delight.
Vincent knelt down, arms wide open, and as Kaya reached him, she leaped into his embrace, giggling. "I missed you!" she exclaimed, wrapping her tiny arms around his neck.
Vincent scooped her up effortlessly, holding her close as he planted a playful kiss on her cheek. "I missed you too, little rainbow!" he said, his heart swelling with love.
Kyra watched the tender moment, a smile lighting up her face. Kaya’s laughter filled the room, creating an atmosphere of warmth and happiness that enveloped them all.
Lucas pouted, crossing his arms over his chest like a child denied their favorite treat. "Kaya is only playful with her Mumma and Dad! What about me?" he complained, his voice rising in playful exasperation. "I’m really love-less! The only one who can understand me is this little dragon!"
Just then, a cute baby blue dragon flitted toward him, its scales shimmering like the sky. Lucas cradled the dragon gently in his arms, a bright grin spreading across his face. He started to tickle it under its chin, eliciting a series of high-pitched giggles from the creature. "See? This is my baby!" he exclaimed, and the dragon squirmed with delight, its tiny wings flapping in joy.
Damon, watching from the side, couldn’t help but smile at the scene. "You’ve found your true calling, Lucas," he teased, chuckling softly.
Kyra couldn’t help but laugh, her heart swelling with affection. She felt incredibly blessed as she looked around at her lively family.
Damian, the two-year-old dragon cub, was happily perched on Lucas’s shoulder, his big, expressive eyes darting around the room. He adored being with Lucas because he brought a lighthearted energy that made every day feel like an adventure. Unlike his dad, who was often serious and focused, Lucas was playful and silly, always ready to engage in fun antics that made the little dragon squeal with delight.
As they approached the dining room, Damian’s snout wrinkled in disgust at the sight of the fruits bags. He sniffed at the vibrant colors and wrinkled his little nose, letting out an exaggerated huff that made everyone burst into laughter.
"Look at him! He’s so picky!" Kyra chuckled, shaking her head in amusement.
"Where are Ari and Orion?" she asked, glancing around the room. "We should call them too!"
"No need to call," Oceanus said with a warm smile as he walked in, cradling both Ari and Orion on either side of him. "Here they are!"
Orion, with his fluffy silver hair and bright blue eyes, was gleefully playing with Oceanus’s hair, tugging at the strands as if they were a fun toy. His laughter filled the air, a sound that was pure joy.
"Mumma!" Ari squealed, her hazel-blue eyes sparkling with excitement as she spotted Kyra. She wriggled out of Oceanus’s hold and rushed over to her mother, her long silver hair bouncing behind her.
Kyra knelt down, arms wide open. "There’s my little sunshine!" she said, hugging Ari tightly.
"Look, I can do this!" Orion said, beaming as he spun in a little circle, his cheeks puffed up with glee.
"Ari, come and help me with the fruit!" Kyra called out, gesturing to the table. "We’re going to make the biggest fruit salad ever!"
"Yay! Fruit party!" Ari shouted, her laughter mingling with Orion’s as they raced toward the table, ready to join in on the fun.
As everyone gathered around, Lucas continued to playfully tease Damian, shifted in Little human who was still eyeing the fruit salad with disdain. "Come on, little buddy! You might like it if you just give it a try!" he urged, holding out a piece of watermelon for him.
"Never!" Damian puffed, crossing his tiny arms as he watched the fruits with exaggerated suspicion.
With laughter and excitement filling the air, Kyra felt a wave of warmth wash over her. This was family—messy, chaotic, and filled with love. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
