Chapter 76: Chapter 76 She is mine

Next day, Silver Wolf tribe.

Two wolves guarded the entrance of the tribe. It was early in the morning, and the birds were chirping. Everything was peaceful until they sensed a powerful aura nearby.

Their eyes sharpened as they tried to focus on who was there. They widened their eyes when they saw a large, dark black snake slithering toward them. They became alert as the snake transformed, revealing a half-snake, half-human form.

His red eyes and black hair made him look very dangerous, while his pale, fair skin added to his striking and handsome appearance.

"Take me to Lucas’ house," Vincent commanded.

He couldn’t wait to meet Kyra, so he came early in the morning.

In milliseconds, they transformed into beastmen, watching him carefully but not attacking.

"Lucas? What do you want with him?" asked the first wolf suspiciously.

"Are you here to harm Lucas again, Feral King?" the second wolf asked, recognizing him.

"Shut up and take me to him, or I won’t mind bathing this tribe in blood." Vincent snapped, his temper flaring.

They were scared, but for the safety of the tribe, they couldn’t let him in, even if he wasn’t attacking.

"Then wait here! We’ll ask Lucas." said the first wolf as he ran inside the tribe.

Vincent took a deep breath. He couldn’t get angry; it was taking too much time. Why had he come straight here?

Vincent rolled his eyes as he looked through the gate into the tribe.

The Silver Wolf tribe had a huge gate, standing tall and imposing. Looking inside, you could see a dirt road winding through the settlement. The path was lined with simple yet sturdy wooden cottages, and the early morning sun cast a warm glow over everything. The air was filled with the sound of birds chirping, adding a peaceful touch to the rustic beauty of the tribe.

It was taking a ridiculously long time, and Vincent was growing impatient. He almost raised his tail in frustration, causing the poor wolf guard to jump.

’He’s a rank four beast but still scared. He should learn something from Lucas,’ Vincent thought. He stiffened and shook off his thoughts. ’That wolf really poisoned my brain,’ he muttered, kicking a huge rock nearby, which crashed into a tree, again scaring the poor wolf.

Finally, the first wolf returned and said, "Come with me. I’ll take you to his house."

Vincent followed, looking around and hissing whenever someone glanced at him. He had never entered the tribe in a peaceful way before; he remembered attacking some tribes quite violently in the past.

The wolf finally stopped and said, "This is Lucas’ house. He is awake. I’ll take my leave." 𝔫𝖔𝔳𝖕𝖚𝔟.𝔠𝔬𝖒

Vincent ignored him and slithered toward the house. He turned into his beastman form as he climbed the stairs of Lucas’ house and finally knocked on the door. He had never been polite before.

"YOU’RE HERE, SNAKEY! I MISSED YOU!" Lucas exclaimed, almost jumping on Vincent. "Hahaha! You made me stay in your house for quite a few days. Now, let me show you my house." Lucas said happily.

Vincent looked at Lucas suspiciously as he walked inside, taking in everything. "Where is Kyra?" he asked.

"She is still sleeping," Lucas replied, then looked at Vincent curiously. "Why are you here so early?"

"Do you have a problem with that?" Vincent asked, sitting on the sofa without caring that he was a guest in the house.

"Of course, I do. She is my mate, and you’re here to meet her. As her male, I have a problem." Lucas said, sitting beside him, not scared despite having been kidnapped by this snake.

"Your mate," Vincent thought to himself. ’Soon to be mine.’

"Btw, why did you kidnap me again?" Lucas asked. Vincent’s expression darkened as he glared at Lucas.

However, a soft voice interrupted them.

"L-ucas," both their eyes turned to see Kyra. She was rubbing her eyes with her fists, her hair a mess of adorable bedhead. She was walking unsteadily like a little penguin, still clutching her pillow and not fully awake from sleep. Her presence instantly softened the atmosphere.

Vincent’s eyes softened. ’She is so cute.’ he thought, feeling his heart throb. Today, he saw a new side of Kyra. He imagined waking her up with kisses, holding her in his arms as she clung to him, not wanting to get up. He bit his juicy red lips, imagining something not so innocent.

Lucas’s heart also melted seeing Kyra looking so cute in the early morning. However, he suddenly remembered he wasn’t alone. He glanced at Vincent and noticed the visible hard-on through his clothes.

"Kyra." Lucas said softly to her, glaring hard at Vincent, now even more certain that this snake liked her.

He walked towards her and said, "Go quickly wash yourself. We have a guest, and be quick. I made you some breakfast." He then walked back toward Vincent with long strides, who was still looking in Kyra’s direction while she had already left.

"You--" Lucas angrily jumped on Vincent, pulling his hair. "She is mine! You can’t think about her like this!"

"She will soon be mine," Vincent hissed, trying to shake the wolf off.

"I hate you! Kyra is mine," Lucas said, feeling possessive. He couldn’t see Kyra with this snake. He didn’t want to share Kyra with anyone right now, even though he knew he was being selfish.

"You dumb wolf, if I wanted to have her, I would have already snatched her away from you. But I want to become her mate because I want her love, not her hatred." Vincent said, hissing.

They both glared at each other, shooting daggers with their eyes. Neither wanted to back down.

Vincent cursed as the wolf stood up from him and sat opposite, still looking at him with alert eyes.

"You should be happy! Do you have any idea how many males will try to snatch Kyra because of her beauty? She needs a powerful male like me." Vincent said, his lips curling into a smirk.
