Chapter 87 -87: Don’t Look for Trouble with Me
“As long as it has something to do with you.” Ye Sihan’s black eyes were fierce, “If I let you go now, would you dare?”
Tang Yu’s eyes widened with panic, disbelieving.
Ye Sihan would indeed let her go, and after letting her go, he would truly hurt Li Xue.
With such a strong threat, how could she dare to move at all!
As she was in a state of shock, the face above her pressed down, fiercely blocking her slightly parted lips, kissing her forcefully—
“Mmm!” Tang Yu was first startled, then endured. 𝓃𝓸𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶
After such a threat from Ye Sihan, she didn’t dare resist the slightest bit.
Only the two feet under the covers kicked a little.
Ye Sihan’s kisses were terrifying, as if he intended to swallow her whole with his intensity.
Tang Yu’s oxygen was running low, her breathing rapid, and the painful sensation on her lips and tongue caused her body to tremble slightly, her eyes moistening.
She felt as if she were about to suffocate.
Her little hands weakly tugged at Ye Sihan’s arm.
It wasn’t until she was about to pass out that her lips were finally released.
As soon as she was released, she greedily sucked in the fresh oxygen from the air.
Tang Yu’s face, already pale from sickness, now flushed red.
But she was even weaker, her consciousness fading, her eyelids barely able to stay open as they threatened to fall.
In the end, her unsettled spirit still quieted down, and she fell asleep.
Unaware of what Ye Sihan might do or when he left, she slept without any defense.
Because of the illness, her breathing was a bit heavy, and the blush on her face gradually faded, leaving her looking frail and pitiful.
Ye Sihan watched her until the sound of knocking roused him to stand up.
“Come in.”
The doctor brought in something to eat, and seeing someone else present, a tall man with an oppressive aura, he couldn’t help but pause.
Moreover, the patient on the bed had her eyes closed and was motionless.
“Is she asleep?” the doctor asked.
“Leave it.”
After the doctor placed the food on the bedside table and left,
Ye Sihan sat on the sofa next to the sickbed, holding a bowl of thin porridge in his hand, scooping up a spoonful and then letting it fall back in, over and over, slightly distracted.
No one could understand the emotions hidden beneath his profound exterior.
It was as if he was submerged in darkness, causing people to not dare step closer to the sickroom.
Tang Yu woke up the next morning.
Once alert, her first sensation was the uncomfortable feeling of an empty stomach.
Turning her head and seeing the man seated on the sofa, her heart involuntarily clenched.
She had no idea when he had arrived.
She sat up feeling insecure, her strength inside her body mostly recovered.
Ye Sihan’s black eyes, inscrutable as an ancient well, looked at her, and he said softly, “Come in.”
The door to the sickroom opened, and a woman walked in, placing the food on the small dining table by the bed and then standing aside.
Tang Yu recognized the woman’s face as somewhat familiar, and the uniform she wore, as one of the Ye Mansion’s maids.
The food in front of her, though simple, was nutritious and balanced, with appealing colors and aromas, courtesy of the Ye Mansion’s provisions.
It only made her stomach growl even more.
Without needing Ye Sihan to speak, just under the silent pressure of his gaze, she would automatically pick up the spoon in front of her and start eating.
With each spoonful, her stomach felt warm and comfortably filled.
During the meal, Ye Sihan on the sofa watched her constantly, as if his gaze was nailed to her.
She didn’t know what kind of look it was, didn’t look, and didn’t want to look.
The threat from Ye Sihan the previous night was still ringing in her ears, using Li Xue to intimidate her.
Such methods were infuriating.
Afterwards, she fell asleep, knowing nothing.
But she would be more cautious in her actions, not to provoke his wrath.
Even the attempt to replace her passport had been unexpectedly discovered.
What resistance could she possibly muster?
She ate a large bowl and couldn’t eat anymore, so she put down the spoon.
The maid stepped forward to collect all the bowls, opened the door, and left, just as the doctor came in. He gave her medication and conducted a check-up.
“You’re all right now, just rest at home,” the doctor said.
“Thank you,” Tang Yu said.
“No problem,” the doctor nodded, then left.
Tang Yu lifted the blanket and got out of bed.
Her shoes were by the sofa, which meant in front of Ye Sihan.
She had no choice but to face him and slide her pale feet into her shoes. As she stood up, her vision darkened, and her body swayed. She instinctively reached for the armrest beside her but missed.
Her waist was suddenly gripped tightly, and a strong hand wrapped around her, preventing her body from falling to the ground.
Tang Yu collided with the deep and sharp black eyes in shock. Then she was suddenly lifted by her waist, which made her reflexively cling to his broad shoulders, staring dazedly at the clearly defined face of the man so close, “I can walk on my own, I was just careless just now… ”
“Don’t make trouble for me,” Ye Sihan said with a cold expression, his voice carrying an indisputable dominance, “Or do you want to walk out like this?”
Tang Yu pressed her lips together and said nothing more.
Because underneath her pajamas, she was bare.
The door to the hospital room opened, and her head instinctively bowed as if it was something very shameful.
Ye Sihan’s black eyes rested on her restrained expression, a slight ripple passing through them.
With her head bowed all the way back to the car, Tang Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She didn’t know how that man managed to keep his cold facial expression unchanging while doing that.
As the car left the hospital, Tang Yu said, “I want to go back.”
Since regaining consciousness, Ye Sihan had been with her the whole time, and she hadn’t had a chance to call Li Xue.
Ye Sihan said nothing but gave her a cold, sharp glance.
The sense of oppression inside the sealed car was intense.
Tang Yu felt nervous inside; Ye Sihan wouldn’t comply with her wishes, would he?
The man was overbearing and unsympathetic.
However, the car was not heading to the Ye Mansion.
Instead, it was going to her apartment complex.
Tang Yu was puzzled; how had he become so agreeable?
That man really was unpredictable.
“Change your clothes,” Ye Sihan said in a deep voice.
Tang Yu looked at the bag beside her.
She had noticed it when she got into the car.
“Change here?” Tang Yu asked, slightly stunned and instinctively.
“Is there anything I haven’t seen?”
Matching Ye Sihan’s deep gaze, Tang Yu could only force herself to take off her pajamas.
With her head bowed, she dared not to look at him or at the alarming marks covering her body.
She tried to control her trembling fingers as she dressed in the clothes taken out of the bag, piece by piece.
Undergarments, and then the outer clothing.
The whole process was almost like torture.
Especially since it was under Ye Sihan’s piercing scrutiny the entire time.
Thankfully, he only watched and did nothing else.
Perhaps he was afraid of actually killing her. Who would he then take his twisted psychological satisfaction out on?
The car stopped at the entrance of the apartment complex. Tang Yu said, “I’m getting out. Thank you for bringing me back.”
“Take care of yourself,” Ye Sihan’s voice was low and dangerous.
“I know,” Tang Yu said as she got up and left the car.
Seeing that the Rolls-Royce did not leave, she hesitated, then turned and walked into the complex.
Entering the elevator, she leaned against the side, feeling weak.
She didn’t know if the pain in her body would subside once she recovered from the illness.
It felt as if her bones had been individually broken.
Ye Sihan was simply inhumane!
