Chapter 1094: Welcome to the Hell
"You’re different this time, Senior," said Vicente as they crossed the space-time distortion between Anicane and the Hell.
"Many things have changed since those two meetings we had," said Minos as he looked at Vicente, who had a special form of power quite different from what he was used to.
"You’ve improved a lot too... Before, you were like an ordinary insect. Now you’re more like a praying mantis."
Vicente looked at Minos out of the corner of his eye, not knowing whether to thank him or feel bad about his words.
"Thank you..." he said anyway, smiling bitterly, thinking that, given the differences between them, it was only fair for Minos to say such a thing to him.
Minos then got straight to the point. "We’ll reach the Hell in a few seconds. As I promised you before, I’m now going to take you to the Hell for a while. But I won’t stay by your side. I have a mission for you."
"A mission?" Vicente changed his expression, sensing that this would lead him into bigger trouble. "I’m afraid I might end up disappointing you, Senior. The difference between us is too great." He was sincere, recognizing the great difference between them.
Minos seemed so strong in Vicente’s eyes that he looked more like a Transcendent than a Sorcerer. That was a difference of more than a whole stage to Vice’s power, which naturally made him very uncomfortable.
"You’re still too weak to influence my plans, but that could change. Soon, a great opportunity will present itself to you. Just follow what you think is best and eventually you’ll be able to help me."
Vicente continued to watch the winged figure from his side, but without really understanding where this was going. Minos was being rather vague with him, and he didn’t feel well enough to ask questions.
’What kind of mission is this? Is it just for me to follow my instincts?’ he asked himself, judging such a mission to be rather peculiar.
But he wouldn’t complain. Being in this complicated situation, being able to do what he thought was best, was already a great benefit!
Minos then told him, "Anyway, when you find a way to escape the Hell, avoid performing the Banishing Ritual again. You have too much affinity with the Hell and some powerful Devil may end up noticing you.
Not everyone will be as kind to you as I am. Some would enslave you, while others would recognize your potential and kill you. Some of them are stronger than me, so be smart!"
"Stronger than Senior?" Vicente narrowed his eyes tightly as he asked, fearing a strength even greater than that of this Transcendent.
In Vicente’s vision, Minos was already close to his absolute peak. Would he still have to deal with stronger creatures?
’Are there beings even stronger than this Transcendent?’ Vicente wondered silently.
"Exactly," said Minos, observing the end of the path ahead of him, reviewing the position he would reach a few moments later, where his women were waiting for him.
"We’re racing against time. Don’t waste the chance you’ll have in a few moments and do as I say. We’ll have to separate soon, but we’ll see each other again in no time."
"All right," Vicente said, with no choice but to do so. "By the way, I’m Vicente Fuller. May I ask your name, senior?"
"Minos Stuart." He looked at the black-haired young man next to him, who looked like a child not only because of his weaker cultivation but also because of his small physique. 𝖓𝔬𝔳𝔭𝖚𝖇.𝔠𝔬𝖒
Almost 80 centimeters taller than Vicente, Minos looked like a giant next to the young magician.
The two arrived in the Hell in Minos’ macabre carriage, which immediately lost its traces of darkness as they returned to the Hell.
Minos felt his powers increase as he was back in the Devils’ natural home, concentrating on watching his women, who sighed with relief that he had returned in time.
Vicente looked at the only group of beings around, seeing three black rock creatures waiting in formation, as if they were preparing for combat at any moment.
He didn’t know what was going on, but given Minos’ comments and the position of those three figures, who seemed as powerful as Minos to Vicente, he remained silent, prepared to act.
The three creatures, difficult to tell whether they were women or men, given their rocky forms, rushed to their side, soon catching up with them. Meanwhile, Vicente felt his senses being assaulted, realizing the wealth of mana and darkness of the Hell.
Some of his abilities seemed to resonate in response to the environment, making him suddenly feel more relaxed, as if he had returned home.
With an interested look on his face, Vicente observed the vast Hell.
’That feeling...’ He was delighted, feeling happier than ever.
Not only did he feel different, but everyone around Vicente felt something, too. It was as if the Hell itself was in a good mood, welcoming the newest member of its diabolical forces!
Minos smiled as he saw some of what he had already predicted would happen. He motioned for Abby to go ahead. "Begin. There’s no more time. Vicente will carry one of your crowns and go on his own journey through the Hell."
Vicente looked at the woman, who, despite her rocky appearance, had visible blue hair. Seeing that color of hair reminded him of Nova, making him clench his fists in determination.
He understood he had to accept what these people wanted to do to him and tried to stay focused on the present, anxious about what was about to happen. Meanwhile, Abby formed a crown of darkness in one of her hands.
"Don’t fight it. It’ll be quick," she said, making it seem with her words that Vicente had some chance of resisting.
As soon as he had finished listening to Abby’s words, a hand touched one of his shoulders and, when he looked back, another hand placed a crown on his head. After that, the absorption process began, with him falling to his knees on the floor, shaking vigorously.
Vicente felt his whole world tremble, for an instant losing touch with reality and everything that had happened. He felt as if his soul was going to leave his body and tried his best to hold on and endure what Abby had started.
The group with Minos exchanged a few words amid the difficult process of integrating him with the Infernal Crown, but Vice couldn’t make out the exact content of their words.
Everything for him at the moment was the assault on his soul, with mana and darkness penetrating his existence as if he were an endless hole.
Meanwhile, a small, golden hourglass glowed around him, spinning as it sped up the passage of time.
For Vicente, time passed exactly as it should, slowly and tortuously. But for Minos’ group, only a little over a minute would pass until the end of this special procedure.
Vicente accepted everything wholeheartedly. Having run out of choices and noticing the great affinity he had with everything that was happening, he realized without needing to hear from Minos that it wouldn’t harm him.
Soon, the time needed to complete the integration of the crown with him came to an end!
