Chapter 381: Chapter 382: Building a Snowman

Knowing full well what the tribe folks are like, Gaiyin had no doubt that this whole situation was caused by the little female again.

He brought the Deer-horned Beast back to the courtyard of his house. After scanning the area, he quickly spotted the little female and walked towards her.

The little female was squatting on the ground with several cubs, completely oblivious to his approach due to the surrounding commotion.

Su Tang was helping the tribal cubs build a snowman.

There were cubs of different races in the tribe. Among them, Winged Tiger cubs and Stone-piercing cubs were the majority, with Weasel cubs and a few others from different races.

All of these little ones were squatting there, staring intently at Su Tang and the movements of her hands.

"You see, it’s actually quite simple, roll a small snowball, then place it on the ground, keep rolling it, and it will get bigger. Make two of these, then stack them on top of each other."

"This is a branch I just broke from a tree, stick it here, look, the snowman’s hands are ready, then put these two pieces of charcoal as the eyes, draw a mouth for them, and it’s done! Isn’t it great?"

Su Tang looked at everyone excitedly, clearly seeking praise and compliments.

The cubs just stared at the lumpy snowman Su Tang made without saying a word.

Su Tang: "..."

What the hell is this awkward silence about?

Although her snowman wasn’t well made, it was recognisable as a snowman, at least.

And this was her first time making such a big snowman; she’d done quite well. These little cubs just didn’t know how to appreciate it.

Awkwardly laughing a couple of times, "Well, since everyone has learned how, you can go build your own snowmen. Remember to wear your gloves, or you’ll freeze your hands."

The cubs dispersed happily.

Su Tang sighed, stood up, and turned, bumping into a sturdy chest.

"Ah... Ayin, you’re back, where were you? I’ve been looking for you."

Gaiyin reached out and pinched Su Tang’s cheek, pulled her lips into a straight line.

"Disobedient, how can you roam around like this?"

"I’ve been stuck inside for so many days, I came out to get some fresh air since the sun was out today. Don’t you think it’s such beautiful weather? And look, everyone is having so much fun!"

Gaiyin glanced around and hummed in approval, as he took Su Tang’s cold hands, numbed from the snow, and placed them inside his warm chest.

Su Tang, afraid that she might freeze him, instinctively tried to pull her hands away.

Gaiyin held her wrists tightly, "Don’t move, I’ll warm them for you."

Su Tang was startled for a moment, and in the next second, her heart felt so warm it was almost bubbling, and she couldn’t help but smile.

"Ayin, let’s have a barbecue at the beach today, the scenery there must be especially beautiful."

Thinking of the soft golden beach from before, Gaiyin nodded, "Okay! What do you want to eat, I’ll let someone prepare it."

Su Tang shook her head, "It’s not the kind of barbeque you’re thinking of, follow me, we’ll prepare it ourselves."

Without another word, Gaiyin followed her.

Upon returning, she saw the Deer-horned Beast in the courtyard. Su Tang cherrily said, "Perfect, we have fresh meat, we can eat this one."

Gaiyin had no objections, he hunted this prey for Su Tang to eat after all.
